Samsung WB2100: Why is my memory card not reading?

When I turn on my Camera, it says that there is no memory card. I know I put a memory card in. What could be causing this?

I have checked the memory card and the battery for problems but I have found none. Why is the screen still getting black pictures or no pictures at all?

my camera got dropped in a baby pool we put it in rice but it only somewhat worked until the battery died is it worth fixing do u think or should i just but a new one

while I was using the camera it got stuck and it isn't getting switch off.

Samsung WB2100: Wont take pictures but will video

Suddenly my camera decided it wont take pictures. It'll auto focus and all, but once you click it down to take the shot, nothing happens. With video it works with no problem though.. how can I get it to take pictures again?
