Samsung Refrigerator RS261MD: Ice is not dropping into receptical

Any other ideas around this? Bought a house with a 2012 samsung refrigerator and all of a sudden the ice stopped dropping. I have tried the re-set multiple times and it doesn't seem to be working. It looks as though ice is being made but isn't dropping into the bucket. Since we weren't the ones who bought the fridge, I don't think I am able to have a service technician come out to look

Samsung Refrigerator RS261MD: Self Diagnosis Says it's a Defrost Error

Hey. So out of nowhere my freezer wasn't freezing any longer. I did the self diagnosis and the top left was lit meaning a defrost error. Idk how to use a multimeter to test the brown wire, so since the the Defrost Sensor was cheap I bought one and put it on. No fix. A couple of days later- before the new sensor, the fridge part also stopped cooling. If I do a defrost it will all work for about half a day before it freezes up again. The top 2 rows of the little square metal pieces and the lead thing that kind of resembles an older weed trimmer motor...well I will attach a photo, lol!

So anyway, I'm nit rich by any means and certainly can't afford either a new or used refrigerator and have been without one for a month now and am very tired of PopTarts and Cereal so would like to get this thing fixed. I guess it could be the Defrost Heater or maybe that pesky Brown Wire. The Defrost Sensor I bought doesn't look like the one in the picture on manuallibs.com

Samsung Refrigerator RS261MD: Corrosion on main board

Has anyone experienced corrosion on the main board like this

The component seems to be completely coated in green corrosion and is a black plastic component normally

I was inspecting this when the freezer stopped working on my side by side samsung rs261mdbp
