Samsung Refrigerator RF267AE: Refrigerator leaking onto floor.

We have RF267AERS french door samsung refrigerator. The ice maker has not worker for about a year. However yesterday I went into the kitchen and the was water surrounding the the fridge. When I opened the door the water seemed to be coming from the ice maker.

I tried the fix in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXL2sDGF... but that did not work. I am not sure what to do next. We can't afford a new fridge or repairman and the store cancelled our warranty when they could not fix our ice maker. Any suggestions would be great.

Samsung Refrigerator RF267AE: ice maker sometimes works and sometimes doesn't

Samsung RF267AEPN icemaker makes ice and then doesn’t. This issue has been going on for quite a while and seemed to be related to ice building up beneath the ice bin. If I kept that chipped out every few days, we seemed to get along pretty well. Then, after replacing the water filter the ice has been more off than on, but it has made some ice.

It seems to have stopped making ice entirely now. I have previously used the test/reset button and generally nothing happens whatsoever, but it has made ice after that (sometimes). Today I pressed the test button and got the chime for the first time in weeks, but nothing dumped. Another chime sounded a few minutes later, but several hours later, we have no ice.

I am happy to replace the icemaker and I think I’m able to do that myself, but because it has been working sometimes I wonder whether that will solve the problem. I can also replace the filter though I hate to give up on a nearly new filter and, again, since it has worked some since the filter change, I hesitate about whether that is the answer. Thanks for any ideas.
