There is an ice build up all around ice maker. It does not allow the unit to make ice.

We defrost and melt ice and it works for a short time till ice builds up again around unit. There is leak or needs insulation. How do we fix it?

Samsung Refrigerator - RF263BEAE: Ice maker not working

We have a Samsung model RF263BEAESR. Our ice maker only works when you use the reset button to get the ice to drop. I've had the icemaker replaced and am still not getting ice automatically. The technician keeps telling me we do not have enough water pressure to fill the ice maker reservoir. We've tested it and have 60 psi from the water line to the refrigerator. The repairman also told me that the way this ice maker works is the water is released via a set time to fill, not how much water is put into the ice maker reservoir (bad design). So, my question is, if your ice maker is working, how many seconds does the water run to fill the ice reservoir? Ours only runs approximately 3.1 seconds, which even at 60psi I don't think is long enough to fill. Any advise is welcome. Thanks.

Samsung Refrigerator - RF263BEAE: Ice Maker is Not Working and Will Not Chime When Reset

Our ice maker has been having issues since we bought the house a year and half ago. Now it stopped making ice and I tried to defrost the ice maker last night that had ice build up and then reset it. It chimed last night and sounded like it was running. Went to bed and woke up to no ice and now the chime doesn’t happen when I hit the reset button. We unplugged it for 5 mins and plugged it back in and still nothing. Read online it may be we hit the reset button too many times and it broke. Is there a way to figure out if that is the case? And what can be done besides replacing the whole ice maker??

Samsung Refrigerator - RF263BEAE: My Samsung RF260BEAESR fridge keeps shut off and not cooling.

First there's ice building up in the fridge, with loud noise. After remove the ice, I found water leaking from under the pantry box. I followed the youtube instruction to remove the cover inside the firdge wall, and unpluged overnight to light the ice melt.

After that putting everything back and plug in, the fridge still leaking water and it power off from time to time. but it will turn back on itself. The temperature display for fridge is 64F, and for freezer it's 2F, but all my food in the freezer is defrost. The fridge is quiet now for most of time.

Samsung Refrigerator - RF263BEAE: Coils always frozen. Fridge freezes drinks and freezer stay cold.

Hey, any help is appreciated. I have attempted many times to fix this. I defrosted it many times, let it st unplugged for 24 hours a few times and even changed out the thermistor and that didn’t work. My next attempt (if you think that may be it) is to change out the Refrigerator Freezer Defrost Heater & Thermostat. I think that may be it but would like some thoughts on that idea before dong so since it is $50. It makes sense since it isn’t defrosting?
