<title><![CDATA[Samsung NX300: The camera screen is black when on capture mode.]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>Camera screen remains black when I try to shoot stills or record video, but the the menus are still visible on the frame. Playback is still functional, so I don't think it is a faulty screen. What can I do?</p>

<title><![CDATA[Samsung NX300: My camera can not start after I upgraded it]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I have upgraded my NX300 to firmware 1.45 by using Samsung i-launcher but then, I have been faced many problems especially lens (18-55cm III OIS) could not work properly. I fixed the lens error but I could not fix the autofocus by pushing trigger button. Some buttons on the body begun to work wrongly etc. I tried other firmwares to solve out the problems but I could not be successful.</p>

<p>At last, I downgraded it to firmware 1.0  which was original one but now I could not open the camera. It is totally not responding such as dead battery though that it is fully charged.</p>

<p>Is there any way to hard reset it? Or any other solutions to get rid of it??</p>

<p>If someone can troubleshoot my unfortunate problem I will be really really apreciate it.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Samsung NX300: Why does the image freeze in capture mode?]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I have had a NX300 since a couple of years.  A couple of weeks ago it fell (it was in a padded bag) a few feet to the ground.  After that it was only showing a black screen (with menus still visible) in capture mode.  It also doesn't turn off when flipping the switch to off mode.  The shutter is not closed, since I had read elsewhere that that might be the problem.</p>

<p>I discovered that if I enable 'sensor cleaning', then it actually does show an image after turning it on, but after about 4 seconds the image freezes.  After freezing I can get it to power off normally.</p>

<p>Does anyone know what the problem might be?</p>

<title><![CDATA[Samsung NX300: Wi-Fi problem with RemoteViewFinder]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>My Samsung nx300 has a problem with the Remote View connection. When i connect the camera with my Iphone the telephone does not see the connection.</p>

<p>The Wi-Fi name (in my opinion) has a problem: it is &quot;AP_SSC_NX300_0:??&quot; not &quot;AS_SSC_NX300_0:XX:XX&quot;.</p>

<p>The Mobile Link work but the wi-fi name  is AS_SSC_NX300_0:00:00 without letters or numers.</p>

<p>I don't understad why the wi-fi name in remote view is different to mobile link.</p>

<p>The firmware camera is v1.45 and the lens v1.13.</p>

<p>On Setting-&gt;device information there are not any information on connection (or MAC adress).</p>

<title><![CDATA[Samsung NX300: Screen working but without backlight]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>My camera was working fine, I simply left it in a table a couple of days and when I tried to use it again the screen was black. But the problem seems to be that there is no backlight, if I put it in a dark room I can see that it is showing the normal info, if in Autofocus, when I touch the screen it blinks the green light to focus, and I can even take pictures (I took the memory card to my computer and saw that it is taking pictures), but simply the screen is not bright enough to see what is going on. I have also changed the battery but the problem continues.  Any Ideas? Thanks!</p>

<title><![CDATA[Samsung NX300: The camera screen is black.]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>My camera screen stays black when I'm in capture mode or any other mode. The rest of the menu is still visible on the frame.  Everything else works. It recognizes the lens.</p>

<p>I think it might be a stuck shutter, since when I turn on the device the shutter doesn't open or close at all, same for when I turn it off.. Does anyone know how to fix a shutter that won't close? Or maybe has an idea of what else might be going on?</p>

<p>Things I have done:</p>

<p>- Reset</p>

<p>- Updates (body and lensfirmware)</p>

<p>- Disconnected the lens, reconnected properly</p>

<p>- Checked the CMOS sensor for tears, but seems to be fine</p>
