Samsung NX1000: How can I connect my Samsung NX1000 Camera to my Smartphone now?

Since Samsung Remote View Finder and Samsung Mobile Link Apps are already not available from Google Play Store, what mobile Application can now be used to connect my Samsung NX1000 Camera to my Smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge)?

I tried to install the latest Samsung SMART CAMERA App, but it is not working with my NX1000 since as per App Description: "You can only connect to Samsung cameras manufactured in 2013 or later. ( DV150F, ST150F, WB200F, WB250F, WB30F, WB800F, WB350F, NX300, NX300M, NX30, NX mini, Galaxy Camera, Galaxy S4 zoom, Galaxy NX )".

Was the feature to connect to a Smartphone now useless just because this has been manufactured and released earlier than 2013?

Any help is much appreciated.

Samsung NX1000: Date and time keep resetting

I set my date and time accordingly in my camera and after some time, eg half a day - a day, I notice that it's reseted back to 2012.

This keeps happening ... Does anyone else have this problem ?

Does it have a small battery for the RTC ? Can this be changed easily ?

I’ve been trying to add the photos onto my phone via the app, when I select to transfer it, the transfer fails. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it but it’s still not working

Samsung NX1000: Camera says 'card not supported'

Hello,

I have an NX 1000. It has been in storage for some time. Went to use is and the camera gives me the same message when i load an SD memory card, I have tried a couple diffenet cards and also tried formatting a card from an online program. Nothing working. Do I need a Samsung SD card? What cahn you suggest.

I can not remove the native objective lens. I press the removal button, the lens is not removable. Lens is blocked.

It is not simple. I have to unscrew the lens before. And I know how to unscrew. However, already half a year can not unscrew the push of a button. I can just strip the threads by following your advice.

I have a similarSamsung Galaxy gn120a (NX) Camera. The Lens to camera mount is loose and seems to have come that way from the factory as it is loose with both of my lenses. Is there a good way to tighten this connection?

Samsung NX1000: Firmware update froze the camera.

I went to update the firmware to the latest, I did it directly from the camera and it was charged and everything. I left it for a while and when I came back it didn’t want to turn on. I tried taking the battery out, changing the SD card and nothing works. The only thing that shows is the little green light on the back of the camera. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I recently dropped my camera and the nx lens popped out open. Not the lens from the camera, but rather the 3 screws that hold the lens in one piece disattached from the camera. I can put it back together but I lost the screws. Can anyone tell me what kind of screws are they?

When I turn it on the skreen come on but nothing else happens some times when I turn it of nothing happens I then got to disconnect the battery I turned the camera and cleared all the photos to start again with a clean camera I turned off for ar least 1 hour on turning back on I got a sign saying sweet cleaning that went on to a blank seen I then prest the button to take a photo and the skreen showed a patern like it was ready to take a photo but nothing happened I then turned it of but that did not work that's when I released the battery

My camera probably gone under the water but I totally cannot turn on my camera.

Samsung NX1000: lense eye piece has loosened out

The lense eye piece has loosened out and once in a while it gets tilted from its position. But it gets rectified when I open the lense and push the eye piece. Is there a permanent solution to this?

Samsung camera's not being so popular , no shop is ready to repair and samsung service center sucks.
