Original config had Windows 7 HP. The HDD was confirmed bad, replaced it with a Patriot Burst SSD. BIOS is updated, and recognizes the SSD. Did a fresh install of Windows 8.1, now it will restart continuously. Some people thought it was GPU related, but no way in BIOS to disable AMD Radeon GPU. I'm not sure what to try next. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Samsung NP700Z5AH: Display stoppped working after installing SSD

Hello!

I recently purchased Samsung NP700Z5AH and I decided to upgrade it. I bought the Samsung SSD 860 EVO Sata 6 gb/s and when I installed it, the laptop display stopped working.

I have tried diffrent methods to get the display to start working again, I unplugged the battery and drained AC charge with all the methods. I have tried to connect an HDMI to see if the system is running fine but the other screen displays no HDMI connected. I thought maybe its the SSD causing the issues, so I installed the old HDD back (which was running fine before) and now the old HDD gives the same problem. I can hear the system turning on and the fans spinning but the laptop is not responsing what so ever.

If you have a solution please let me know. Thank you
