5 days ago, I dropped my phone in water. The top was briefly submerged before I took it out and dried it with a towel while panicking. The touch screen has been unresponsive ever since, and because my phone is a sealed phone, I cannot remove the back to dry it internally.

I’ve left it in the sun, in silica gel balls and in rice across the 5 days since it broke, and I turned it off after the 2nd day. However, my phone is encrypted and requires my password to turn my phone on. Because my phone is not on, I cannot transfer my photos and files that were on my phone to my laptop.

Is there any way to transfer my files? Can I get my device unlocked/turned on without touching the screen? Can it be fixed without deleting my files?

Please help, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello everyone;

I have (Samsung j7 pro - android 9), I lost all languages in available languages section after I did reset it before and I tried to (update) it and (keyboard reset) again even I did (factory data reset) but it's not back.

There's no option to download / updating from "3 dots" choice.

How can I get my all languages in available languages section back?

PS.: Available languages was containing (Thai, Hebrew, Indonesian, Malayu and etc) and ready to download.

I can text some people and get a text back but then there are times when I get this box that says NO SUBJECT, MESSAGE SIZE AND EXPIRE TIME AND DATE

If I click on it - it spins for a few minutes but never opens up.

How can I get this to stop or even how to open it to read the text

This just started to happen about 4 months ago - I have had this phone for 2 years

Can anyone help me with my Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro SM - J730GM phone? The touch screen does not work after getting the update to Android version 8.1.0. last week. I tried to look everywhere to find the best solution for it. But it looked complicated and I don't want to brick my phone. I even tried to do the one from Samsung and that doesn't work. When my device didn't turn on, I plugged it into the provided wall charger and then held down the Power + Volume Up buttons for a full 12 seconds. Even then the device still didn't turn on, then I held down the power, volume up and volume down buttons for a full 1-2 minutes. Still no one response.

Hi, I also would like to know if someone could help me and tell me how to fix my phone because I also dropped my phone in the water 4 days ago, its an android and its turned on but its stuck on the lock screen. I put my phone in rice for those 4 days and then I turned it back on and the screen still isn't still letting me swipe, so I'm not able to turn my phone back off unless I am able to tap the screen and get to the home screen. Please help I don't want my Mom to spend $800 on a phone again and she'll keep on bringing up how she keeps on spending more money on my electronics again. I hope someone has any info.

I got my screen replaced, and it can show true black on some windows, but it doesn't show it on the homescreen or other apps. But sometimes it glitches and shows true black. but it gets annoying when watching YouTube since the screen flickers between true black and just "backlit" black.

My power button is not working properly, it doesn't turn on or off my phone but most of the time the options when you hold down the power button(power off, restart, airplane mode, emergency mode) appear even I don't ineract with the power button. Ive Been Doing Online Sales for a good few years now, ive recently gotten into Phone Repairs since ive already been flipping Phones, i have a J7 Sky Pro SM-S727VL(GP) With a Shattered Screen, Im Wondering how easy it is to Swap out the screen so i can sell it for significantly more? And is the Glass Separate from the digitizer? i see digitizers for about $30 and Just Glass for about $12, And since the Screen is Perfect i would like to replace the glass if possible. i Got the Phone for Free so Replacing the Glass is worth it, Replacing the Digitizer might not be.
