The watch is supposed to be waterproof, so I wore it while diving. Now the watch won't turn on. Is it the battery? Or is the watch damaged?

Hello!

Despite my efforts, my Gear Live watch is refusing to turn on. I've gone through customer support and achieved no success (obviously, that's why I'm here) except the offer to pay a fee and send it back which I might take up that offer but I would like to see if anyone else has the same problem or any solutions before I shell out money for that.

So far I've:

-Let it sit on a wall charger for 24 hours

-let it sit connected to my laptop for about the same amount of time

-cleaned off the charger and contact points on the back of the watch, no corrosion to either (in fact, the watch is in nearly new condition minus my numerous fingerprints :P)

-tried three different cables and wall chargers

- opened up the watch, reseated the battery, put it back together and tried again, still to no avail

- opened it again, took out a multimeter, got nothing the first time charging it, second time after charging it, it showed .3 volts.

-today I'm going to do something someone on Reddit suggested in taking off a connector and setting it on a charger

I'm at a loss as it looks as if it were just bought from the store, no damage or anything to the watch anywhere and it didn't seem to show damage from water or sweat. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Samsung Gear Live: Why is my samsung gear live not charging up or powering up?

After using the device for a whole day, until the power ran out completely, I realized the device did not respond to the charging cradle I been using and used for it a night before. I tried everything but to no avail. I tried the charging cradle and the cable for another gear live watch and it worked fine. What should I do?

Samsung Gear Live: Can I buy a replacement charging strip?

The charging strip on my Samsung Gear Live R382 is broken, I assumed originally that it was the battery, but after replacing this the watch would still not charge. Can this component be bought from anywhere as I haven’t been able to find one?

Samsung Gear Live: Watchband clasp screws missing

There are 2 small screws that hold the original clasp on the watchband. They are notorious for falling out and disappearing. Mine have done just that. Samsung is no help and will not sell you replacements. Does anyone know the size for replacement screws? thank you
