Hello guys I have a problem with my galaxy gear 2 Samsung watch, last year it turned off and never came back on again, after I opened it I noticed condensation inside of it, I dried it up real good, battery kept getting hot so I bought a new one, a along on the same loop, and today I decided to give it a try the battery went from 100 percent to 40 percent in about 10 minutes, then it asked me to start energy saving mode so I notice it starts at 15% and immediately goes to 4% at this point I believe there is a short but what? Any ideas or anybody seen this issue before? I don’t have a microscope so it’s gonna be a challenge.🤦‍♂️

The Contact Pin on the back of the watch have faded away on my watch, making it impossible to charge. Anyone else have that problem?

Got a Samsung gear 2 and I think my heart rate sensor at the back ain't working anymore because it doesn't light up wen I try to use the fitness features on my watch .So I want to know how do i go about replacing my sensor I think the sensor is build into the motherboard of the watch so will I have to replace the hole motherboard

I have Samsung Gear 2 SM-R380 my battery was died and i replace it but still the heart rate not working it keep say “ Try again Clean the sensor, then attach Gear snugly to top or underside of wrist, not against the bone. Be still and quiet.”

Greetings to all,

I have a Samsung Gear 2 (SM-R380) and I had to replace the battery in it due to the old battery bulging and lifting the LCD assembly away from the metal frame. I disassembled the Gear 2 easy enough but I noticed that the LCD asssembly is mated to the metal frame by some adhesive. This is either a specialized adhesive sticker ring or some sort of liquid adhesive that is applied to the metal frame and the LCD assembly between a flat rubber ring (or maybe the ring is double sided adhesive). At any rate, since the LCD has been lifted away from the metal frame the adhesive has lost its sticking ability completely on one side of the frame. So even if I replace the battery, the LCD will be popping out of the metal frame housing when I re-assemble it.

Does anyone know how to remedy this? Is there a ready made kit for the adhesive? Is there a product to use in lieu of the factory adhesive?

I appreciate any and all assistance with this issue.

The glass screen of my Samsung Gear 2 is cracked.

While it remains fully functional, the display is affected, plus it simply looks bad.

I understand that opening the watch and removing the battery, camera, and motherboard seem simple enough. Can I go a little deeper and replace the glass?
