Hey all, I accidently dropped my flip5 and the outer screen went out. Any ideas what's wrong? Is it possible that a cable was knocked loose? How difficult would it be to check it out? Thanks everyone!

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5: Main screen isn't working

I accidentally dropped my phone while it was open and now there's two small pixels on the main screen and it wont let me use certain parts of the screen and randomly taps on apps. How do i get it fixed and through who? The small screen works perfectly fine but the main screen doesn't. They'res also some damage on the outside hinge, but i haven't even had it for a month. Im hoping its not that expensive of a fix

I bought a second-hand Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and noticed that the plastic film on the inner screen is no longer there. I know that from the factory, the inner screen comes with a plastic film already applied.

I asked the seller about this, and he told me that after a year it was removed in a store because the film was coming loose. However, no new one was applied afterward.

Does the film only serve to protect against scratches, or does this film have additional functions? Why else wouldn’t Samsung use this film on all their other devices (e.g. Samsung S25, etc.)?

Can I use the service pack(screen/frame combo) from the international sm-731B model on my 731U US model? Are the connectors all the same? And is there a spot for the 5g antenna flex? It's cheaper but returns would be an issue obviously.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5: Z flip 5 main screen spontaneously stops working

Hi!
About six months ago, I got my hands on a used Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. All the phone needed replacing was the exterior 'flex window' screen. After fixing it, the phone worked perfectly fine for some months until after leaving facing flat down on the carpet overnight, the main screen gave up. I was able to get some glimpses of life when opening the phone for just an inch but opening it any more than that would cause attracting all over the screen until it went black. Now it's almost always off. When opening the phone, I noticed a little bit of buildup of white dust, and the phone has been tampered with, because some screws were missing from the top metal bracket. I used some screws from the earpiece part and replaced those with old Note 8 screws I had lying around to keep it together at least or now. (Not my brightest idea).
I'm thinking of replacing the screen, but I'm not sure if what's the actual issue with it, as the touchscreen works perfectly fine when connected to a monitor. I don't want to get a new screen and realize some other thing is wrong.

Full notifications don't show on my lock screen it just shows as a small bubble showing what apps the notifications are from. I have checked all the settings and nothing has worked. How do I get full notifications?
