Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite: Is this power connector broken?

Hi all,

I am reparing a Galaxy Tab 3 lite 7.0 (T111/T113). I replaced the digitzer, so far so good, but when I turned the tablet on the lcd screen stayed white, while it was working allright before the replacement of the digitizer. I checked the connection of the lcd, cleaned it with isopropanol, but no result. The connector looks fine. Then I took a closer look at the power connector. The center pin seems to be different then the other 6 pins:

It is a bit hard to see but the middle pin is way shorter then the rest: did I break it? Or does it need to be shifted 'under' the power flex cable instead of above like the other 6 ones? I don't know for sure because the tablet powers on but the lcd stays white. The middle power pin says 'CNT' (as seen in the pictures).

Thanks in advance!

@oldturkey03 Thanks for your answer! I actually removed the locking mechanism myself to make this picture but I already put it back in, no result. What do you think about the LCD cable?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite: Tablet turning off and on.

Awhile ago I managed to get my tablet stuck in a boot loop, after trying to flash a custom rom, and I was able to get it out of that. However, now whenever it's plugged in it just constantly restarts at the "Samsung galaxy tab 3 lite sm-t110" screen, the very first one to pop up. I know it's not my cable because the cable works fine for any other thing I use to charge it with. I can't even get into recovery or download mode, except on rare occasions but even then, the device will fairly quickly turn off before I can even do anything. I also ordered a new battery for it, but that one seems to be shot as it doesn't even power up at all when in the tablet and a cord in it.

Is there any way I can personally fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite: Why does my tablet keep turning on and off at the power screen

My tablet keeps turning on and off at the screen you get when it shows you what type of tablet you get (like when you power it off and when you power it on again it shows you what tablet type you have). It happened after my battery died last night and I charged it this morning and when I tried powering it on, all that would happen is it would show me the screen you get that tells you what tablet type you have and then turn off again. It keeps repeating that process and idk what to do. I've tried holding the power button for a bit, and holding other combinations of buttons but nothing seems to be working. Idk what to do at this point. I really don't wanna have to show my mom cause she’s kinda tired of these kind of things happening to my devices so I would really appreciate some help on how to fix my situation without needing to go to a professional unless it's really thAT bad.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite: Why does it freeze, close out of apps/browser &bring me to homescreen?

I have a SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0, I got it CHRISTMAS so its NOT EVEN A MONTH OLD yet. I could be playing a game, browsing online, checking my email, on facebook, writing a message it dont matter what im doing on the tablet, but my brand new tablet has a habit of doing something. Ill give an example: im online playing forge of empire, for about 10 to 15 minutes into the game, it will FREEZE an SHUTDOWN an then BRINGS ME BACK TO MY HOMESCREEN. It dont just happen when playing games I coud be doing research or a report for school an it will FREEZE SHUTDOWN an bring me to HOMESCREEN, so all the PROCESS I HAD DONE on the report is NOW GONE. I dont know if anyone else has this ISSUE but I do an its not the only one I have.

OVERHEATING---- This is a major issue for me, heres a LIST of what I do/WAS TOLD to do*

1) always FULLY CHARGE my tablet before using it, an I NEVER USE my tablet WHILE its CHARGING

2) I have the BRIGHTNESS LEVEL as LOW as it can go

3) I make sure I press HOME BUTTON an CLOSE all APPS that I'M NOT USING, I use ONE APP AT A TIME so NOTHING is RUNNING IN BACKROUND

4) I added a COOLING APP from the plystore, but I find that DON'T HELP AT ALL

5) I have the POWER SAVE on at all times

Now with that said my tablet STILL OVERHEATS ON A REGULAR BASIS, this should not be happening to a tablet thats not even a month old. I followed all the things they tell you to do. But nothing seems to work it GETS SO HOT on the back of my tablet, an also my SCREEN IS HOT as well.THIS IS NOT NORMAL. WE WANT ANSWERS TO WHY IT'S HAPPENING TO SO MANY SAMSUNG DEVICES THAT ARE BRAND NEW, then they TELL US to get A NEW BATTERY...WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BECAUSE ITS A NEW FRIGGIN TABLET!! IS IT A DEFECT OR A BAD BATCH OF TABLETS MADE, I DONT KNOW. BUT im returning my tablet today an exchanging it for the same tablet : SamsungGalaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0

fingers crossed that I wont have these MAJOR PROBLEMS with the new tablet that Im going to get today. But I DEFINITELY WILL HAVE MY SAY IF THE PROBLEM PRESISTS IN ANOTHER NEW SAMSUNG TABLET THAT IM GETTING TODAY

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite: Issues with Galaxy Tab 3 Lite - update keeps restarting

I just got a notice on my Galaxy Tab 3 that there was an update available. Of course, I end up pushing the update button and waiting for the update to finish.

Instead, the update restarts each time it reaches 25%. There's a brief flash of the green android with a red exclamation mark over it, the GT3 logo appears briefly, and then it starts all over again from 1%.

I've tried everything to fix it, including resetting the entire device. It just won't turn off properly - the "volume button, power button and home button" trick reboots the tablet, but it goes RIGHT BACK to the update screen instead of letting me access the main menu. I'm thinking it might have something to do with space issues? I would love to delete the extra data from this thing, but it won't let me due to that stupid update screen that just won't go away.

I have no idea what to do anymore. I should probably just throw this tablet into a wall... it's so unwieldy and difficult to use it might just as well be broken.
