i have an s2 which worked fine before and then it suddenly turned off. it charges and all but doesnt turn back on. however, sometimes it does turn on, but then it only stays at the black screen with 'samsung' written on it and freezes.

Once plugged the phone is recognized by my PC. I actually have access to all the data inside... So could it be the LCD display the issue?

But after a few minutes the spot covered all the screen; though i still can hear the lock screen or when i turn it on so it's still working.

i think i need to change the screen or something like that but i don't know how ?
