Samsung Galaxy S6 Active: Device will not power on or charge.

The other day I woke up & phone that had been on the fast charger all night(I leave phone on fast charger nightly) would not wake or reset. The screen was black but the cyan or purple light was flashing. I tried all the combo button resets that I know (power+ vol. Down & power+vol. Down+home button & power+vol. up& down+home & just power button) but nothing would restart or wake the screen but the purple light continued to flash. I tried to call my phone & it went right to voicemail. I let the phone die or waited for the light to stop flashing then tried different chargers (factory, non-factory) as well I tried to plug into computer/different power outlets & button combinations again but nothing has worked. The indicator light is out & no lights come on when plugged in or otherwise since letting device discharge & purple light stopped flashing. I am not sure what has happened as it was working fine & had not been dropped or water damaged (also has been in Otterbox Defender case since purchase in March of 2016) or anything that could explain why this happening. Has anyone had s6 actives that have done this & could be fixed? Is it worth getting repaired? Any information will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active: Galaxy S6 Active: Adhesive to maintain waterproofing?

Hi! I need to replace a screen on a Galaxy s6. However, I want the phone to remain waterproof for days like I keep hearing that it is now.

This would, clearly, require some sort of adhesive replacement BEHIND the digitizer; (since I basically have to remove that to replace the glass.)

So my real question here is: What adhesive should I use behind the screen? I can't believe that the abuse that adhesive is going to take - (air exposure, abnormal heat) is going to leave it as well able to resist water as it was at the factory.

So I need some sort of metal-to-metal adhesive that can be pried apart, but applied to the metal and remain waterproof.

Thanks.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active: Black screen but still charging

Hello,

I have a Samsung S6 Active, while I have the phone in my pocket. I believe that something hit my phone but I don't know for fact. I try the up volume, power, and home button. As well as bottom volume, power, and home. But they both still have no effect. It's still show red notification when charging and green notification when complete. I thought it was because of the overheat from being in my pocket during a hot weather might cause it. So, I put the phone in the freezer in hope to drain the battery quickly. But ,still have no affect. I also try to connect the phone to my Mac book but nothing pop up. Oh yeah, if I hold the up volume, power, and home button, the notification light would turn dark blue, than light blue and dark blue repeatedly for a few moment. If, I mess around for a few moment with the phone, I can feel the regular vibration and noise for the ringer tone. The screen already have a crack but it hadn't affect the phone before.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active: Doesn't charge via USB port

My Galaxy S6 Active is not charging by USB port and wireless charging is kinda random. Like when I put it on the wireless charger, it pause/resume 4-5 times until it finally starts charging. Also whenever it charges to 100% it keep restarting nonstop until I turn it off for about 10 min to fix the nonstop restarting.

Other functionalities working pretty good. It even holds charge really good after 2 years of heavy work.

I never dropped it and it never fell into water (even if it did, it shouldn't be an issue for an Active series phone). I also tried hard reset to see if it's a software issue but it wasn't.

Not sure what's going on with it. I was just wondering if it worth reparing it.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active: Why is my screen black and not working?

I was listening to music and dropped a knife on my galaxy s6 active screen. The screen protector cracked in the spot where the knife hit, but the actual screen didn't, and I've looked very closely. The music stopped playing, so i picked it up and tried to hold the power button to turn it on, because it wasn't responding. The notification light transitions smoothly from blue to cyan now in an endless loop. I'm thinking that I broke the digitizer, and not the actual glass screen?

I need to know what's going on so I can buy the right item to fix it. Do you think anything else is broken? because i don't want to buy a $180 screen + digitizer if it's not going to fix the whole problem.

Also, sometimes when I hold the power button, the left half of the screen (the side that i hit with the knife) blinks white for a quarter of a second.

This is for a Samsung Galaxy S3 (i couldnt choose that model). Id been having some screen issues with my screen not wanting to respond off and on for sometime. But yesterday I had put my phone in my sons stroller and there was a very lil bit of seiarra mist on the bottom. I didnt realize it but when I checked the phone the charge port was dry and the liquid damage indicator hasnt changed. Well my hone was working for a few hour after. I gave my phone to my husband to hole and when i took it back and tried to unlock the screen it turned magenta. I cant see anything. I pulled battery and restarted the phone that way. Still magenta. The phone itself sees to work as it booted and indicated I had an email even tho I couldnt see anything. So I put it in rice jus to see what would happen. My husband put it together and it came on normaly (showed the samsung screen) and went magenta again. What in the world is going on and how do I fix it?
