Samsung Galaxy S6: phone is on but screen is black

My dog knocked my phone out of my truck and when the phone hit the pavement it cracked the front screen. The phone is still on but the screen is black. I can hear when someone texts me but I cant make the screen come on. I have tried restarting it by hitting the power button, power +volume+ home buttons, and power+volume button and the only sign of life on the screen is the little light in the top left corner indicating I have texts, emails, etc. Am I going to have to replace the entire screen?

I'm thinking its an LCD issue after some research. Can I replace the LCD and just deal with the cracked glass or do I have to change both?

Samsung Galaxy S6: Can't disable ultra power saving mode.

After using ultra power saving mode for a while, I charged my phone and tried to disable it but there is a glitch and disable upsm option doesn't appear in the settings.

It seems as if the problem came about when I swapped to Google now launcher from touchwiz and set it as the default app when I touched the home button in upsm.

I've tried wiping the cache partition, rebooting in recovery mode and when I go into doing mode it just says that it's downloading a custom os and nothing happens on the screen for hours

Also can't back up the phone to kies because I can't use it as a USB connection in upsm. I really really need a few voice recordings from the data but the contacts etc is synced to my Google account.

Any advice?

Samsung Galaxy S6: blocked IMEI. what do I do now?

my boss bought a phone some time last year and about 2 months ago it stopped working. turns out Optus blocked the IMEI number and refused to tell my boss why.

he bought this phone 2nd hand of a guy some time last year and it was working for a few months. And sadly my boss bought it with cash so he has no proof of perches.

as far as i read there is no way to get them to unblock the IMEI, which is really really dumb. and changing the IMEI/ESN is highly illegal. i don't wanna go to jail but i still want to help my boss recover some of his losses.

because Optus refused to mention why it was blocked i am going out on a limb here and hoping that if it was a stolen phone they would request it be sent to them so it could be returned to the rightful owner.

now that that's out of the way i read it was still legal to sell a IMEI blocked phone provided it is stated it's IMEI blocked. the phone is in good working condition with no cracks on the screen either.

what parts could i sell? should i just sell it whole?

Samsung Galaxy S6: Phone glitching, Custom OS warning

My phone randomly turned off. I held the power button, the home button, both of them at the same time, I tried the volume up button with the power button, I basically tried every combination of buttons I could, and it was completely blank. I plugged it in and got a battery charging sign, which alternated with the Samsung logo. I tried volume up + home + power button, and it started alternating between the Samsung logo screen and an "installing systems update" screen. I held volume down + home + power, and got a warning screen about a "custom OS" and it said to press the volume down to cancel it or the volume up to continue with it, but whenever I press one of the two it either immediately goes away or does nothing. It is currently stuck flashing between the Samsung screen and the "installing systems update" screen, both of them flash for about one second and then go away for about two (like the logo will flash for a second, then go black for two, then show the systems update screen, then go black, and it continues). It's been like this for about 2 hours. How do I fix it??

Samsung Galaxy S6: Samsung S6 going crazy, screen jumping

My galaxy S6 has become almost uncontrollable. It keeps jumping between full and half screens, sometimes jumping to a blank screen that says "No recently launched apps." It's like someone else is controlling it. I have restarted many times and cleared the cache to no avail. Anyone else have that problem? I did a software update recently. It's very difficult to do anything at all on it.

At first it was jumping to a partial screen where "Peel remote" is visible. I have disabled the app to no avail.

Says the user id or password is wrong. Ive changed the password per samsungs advice and it still wont login. I sent it to Samsung since it's under a yr old but they said ut was not repairable. When i called and asked why they said it had an after market screen which it doesnt!!! I argued this point but got nowhere. Thinking maybe i could hire someone to fix it but having no luck.
Samsung Galaxy S6: I dropped my galaxy s6 and now it wont turn on?

So I left my phone on top of my car hood and then I forgot I left it there and it dropped while I was driving. So when I picked it up it was all cracked up and everything. The screen doesn't work but when I put it to charge the little blue light from the top left corner came on . So my question is I don't know if it can still be repaired or not. And also I tried connecting my phone to my laptop but it never came up . So I have no idea if it's worth taking it to get repaired and what I have to repair?
