Samsung Galaxy S4 Active: Getting around screen burn-in

My Galaxy S4 has a burn-in problem. It's good for an hour or so, but then videos become un-watchable, and I have to not use it for a while before it goes back to normal. But every now and then, when I re-boot, the colors appear duller, but much better than when it's all burned-in. This goes away after about ten minutes. Is there a way to force it to stay that way? Some kind of setting or app I can use?

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active: Can I use a different model to replace the LCD?

Okay, I have the Verizon version of S4 SCH-I545. The LCD needs to be replaced. I also have available a working LCD from the ATT I337 S4 which includes the frame. I read that they have different frames and home flex so you can't just use any version to replace LCD.Can I just switch the LCD to the Verizon model motherboard?.Do all the motherboards match up? Can I just transfer all the parts to the I337 LCD frame? Or is the home flex connection different on the verizon motherboard?

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active: Phone left in car during hot day won't turn on (own fault)

A few days ago I was hanging out with my friends and I accidentally left my phone in a truck that tends to get very very hot during the day and when I went back after several hours to retreated the device is found that it wouldn't even turn on. I was hoping it was just a simple battery drain or something so when I got home I put the phone on the charger but the charging screen never popped up. I let it charge for 10 minutes and still nothing, I looked the problem up online but nothing really matched the problem cause everyone else's overheating issues were due to manufacturing issues, not silly operators making mistakes. I still followed the troubleshooting and proceeded to attempt to turn it on, take battery out and hold power button down for 1 minute to drain phone power, then letting charge for 10 minutes. After this attempt not working either I tried to enter the safe modes and other modes to see if the phone would at least activate those. Still no dice. I've come to the conclusion that it could possibly be the battery or even worse, something more internal of which there is no coming back with the phone... I really need help and I would be very thankful to get some advice on how to fix it because I can absolutely not send to manufacturer as I do not have warranty because I only use the device on WiFi because I don't have any kind of contract with it. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active: How do I fix the Green LED notification light?

Is it possible to change the LED notification lights? My green LED light isn't working and hasn't been working since my phone had some type of software crash. During the crash, the Display Screen would not come on and then when I reset it, it would come on the AT&T sign while it was powering on then got stuck like that for about a day. Then after I fixed it (I just put it on charge with the power off for 2 hours),it started to work fine again. Except my Green LED Notification Light hasn't been working since.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active: Stuck in 'download mode' when trying to do a reset

I just got a S4 Active that a former coworker turned in. He claim to have done a ‘factory-reset’ but I am not quite sure to what extent that reset worked since the graphic lock is still active which he apparently never used. And I need to get past that lock.

From what I have gathered a real ‘factory reset’ should take care of this.

So first of all, is that correct?

Now, I can’t do the factory reset itself since I get stuck into download mode. I have followed all solutions I could find and the problem still stands.

The steps that I take are:

1. Turn off phone/pull battery for 30 min

2. Hold volume down + power to enter ‘safe-mode’ or whatever. And I am quite certain the volume down button is not stuck.

3. Get sent straight into download mode after that.

The volume button can’t reasonably be stuck. It makes a clicking noise and I can feel it physically click. It wasn’t stuck pre-’reset’ and when I enter download mode I can click volume down to cancel download.

What do I do here? Are there any other relatively easy steps to get pass the graphics lock?
