Unfortunately I can't unlock it because I have disabled remote access. On top of that I stupidly enabled the meltdown app. here after 15 wrong attempts the phone wipes. Also I'm sure its a Galaxy s23+. Is there any other option besides reset?

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus: Screen dead, phone still on. How could I get data off phone?

The other day I dropped my phone. After impact the screen is black. I was still able to receive calls and answer them blind. I tried force restarting it, and it was still black. I've had my alarm go off too, with vibration and sound.

I got a new phone but didn't have my notes or pictures transfer, the back ups were far back. I'm curious what the best path to grab the data would be.

Is there a way to mirror the screen without accessing the phone settings?

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus: Can't succeed at the last step of screen replacement

I successively followed the steps in these guides:

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus Screen and Battery Assembly Replacement

Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus Screen Replacement

It was no issue until the last step of screen removal. At this step, instead of removing the screen, only the screen cover seems to have detached, and I'm left with an aluminum-looking foil, probably a part of the screen itself.

I thought it was probably just a matter of degluing the screen itself, but after a few tries I noticed there seems to be more afoot there, and that's probably why there's no screen replacement guide for the s22+.

I did buy a screen replacement kit including the screen part from ifixit, so I would be at a loss if I needed to buy a part again, this time a screen and battery assembly, so I'm looking for help here, from anyone who knows whether there's a next step I can take that doesn't involve taking out my debit card.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus: Vibration stopped working on S22+

So the vibration feature on my Samsung Galaxy S22+ stopped working.

Went through all the settings, tried the "*#0*#" diagnostic, no vibration.

Strangely this happened right after the One UI 7.0 update.

I dont know for sure if the update is the problem, or if it was just time for it to fail.

This phone has never been dropped.

I started looking at possibly replacing the vibration motor.

Looks like very doable repair, but not sure of the part I need or if it's even available.

I think theres a loudspeaker replacement part, and I think the original part has both the loudspeaker and the vibration motor included? So trying to figure out if the replacement part has the vibration motor with the loudspeaker?

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus: Can't access recovery menu

Hello,

I bought a Samsung galaxy s22+ from a (trustworthy) second hand store. Since I'm travelling, I let them send it to a friend. Said friend sent me the whole unboxing thing to show me if everything worked - and it did. Now the friend brought me my phone. I inserted my old sim cards and turned it on to set it up. But I ended up with a lock screen that asked for a pin code. I thought it was mine, since my sim cards were in it, but I could put in any numbers - it seems the 'OK' button doesn't do anything.

I also couldn't get it into recovery mode - it always ends up with the lock screen.

So I was recommended to let the battery drain, and try again. Just did that two times - still ending up in lock screen every time I hold the volume up and power button.

My friend didn't do anything with the settings, nor did they set a pin code.

My old phone is about to die, hence why I bought this solution.

Grateful for any ideas!

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus: Galaxy S22 plus USB-C wore out, new one won't recognise connections

I often buy year old phones to use, but the last couple have had issues with the USB-C wearing out. I started having issues connecting to android auto on this S22 Plus so I ordered a replacement connector, But it won't fast charge through usb, or recognize my usb wireless microphone which I need for some content creation. I am weighing trying another replacement, or giving up and phone shopping again. I have repaired a few phones in my time and swapping a usb isn't so hard, but now I am not sure these newer phones do well with replacement parts. Am I wrong? I did get a part specific for my model, but it has limited finctionality

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus: Garbled sound from both speakers.

After a change if elevation (flying or coming down from altitudes >4K ft), the sound coming out of the speakers is garbled. Blue tooth audio devices work fine. I have been told this is a fault of a pressure differential between the inside the case & the atmospheric pressure. Is their a fix for this?
