Samsung Galaxy S21: S21 suddenly stops working

So this morning, I woke up and checked my phone for any messages. My phone was working fine then. I placed the phone on my table upside down and went to use my pc. I heard the phone vibrate as my mom called me, but when I picked it up the screen was just black.

After the missed call, I tried pressing the power button, volume buttons, tapping the screen, and nothing happened. I asked my mom to call me again, and the phone vibrated normally, but the screen did not turn on. I force restarted my phone by holding the power and volume down buttons for 7 seconds, and I felt my phone vibrate. I waited for a little bit, but now it seems that the phone just won't turn on at all. No charging symbol, my pc doesn't detect it, and calls get forwarded.

The phone was working perfectly fine before the first call, and there were no signs of any problems with the phone, I've dropped it a couple of times, never spilled anything on it or dropped it in water. Had the phone for 2 years.

Update: The phone powered on, but screen is still black. Does this call for a screen replacement? I just don't get how it just suddenly stops working minutes after I used it

Update #2: I'm able to control the phone and see the screen with the phone link app on my pc. My phone failed the proximity and face recognition tests.

Samsung Galaxy S21: USB charging port/daughterboard replacement gone wrong

I did the daughterboard replacement and I am now getting a "SIM not provisioned" message. The board does not seem to know what service provider the sim is with. There are no answers anywhere for this that I have seen. Everything is hooked up correctly, the phone registers that the sim is inserted, and the phone even knows the phone number connected to the sim but not the carrier for some reason. All other functionality of the daughterboard is working including charging, microphone, and speaker. Anyone know the answer?

This is my SIM card status page.

It won't show my image but it says network is searching for service and network carrier state is not connected whole the phone and sim are activated.

Samsung Galaxy S21: Why is my SIM card not working?

Hello All, I purchased my Samsung Galaxy S21 (unlocked) in December of 2021. I was overseas on vacation and removed my SIM card to not get random charges. When I returned my SIM card did not work. I got a new SIM card, no dice. Finally, I bought a new phone and put the SIM card in, it works! How can I start trying to repair the problem with my Samsung Galaxy S21 SIM card port or is there a software solution?

Samsung Galaxy S21: Phone powering off when plugging in charger.

Hi,

Every time I try to charge my phone by cable, it powers off completely and doesn't proceed to charging. I've tried multiple cables with different charging power, I've removed dust from the charging station. If I charge it wirelessly it works, but it's painfully slow. What should I do? Should I change one of the parts of my phone?

Samsung Galaxy S21: Rear cameras wont work

My wife's Galaxy S21 5g rear cameras wont work. When she tries to open the camera app (samsung camera v 13.1.10.28), it simply give a toast message"Warning. Camera failed". Ive tested using other apps as well. Google messages, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc. It just shows a black screen. However, it does give me the option to switch to the front camera, which works perfectly fine.

I installed Open Camera to test this out. In OC, i get a toast message "failed to start camera preview" then immediately another toast "serious camera error". I can switch to front camera (ID1), with no problem. And can switch to rear ultra-wide camera (ID2). The wide and telephoto module seems to not work.

Any suggestions before i try to open and try to replace the module?

Update (05/25/23)

Update: I opened the phone up (thank you, iFixit, for the tardown vid) and completely disconnected the rear camera module and booted the phone back up. Got the exact same errors. Seems like the module is dead or the connector between the motherboard and camera module. I put the phone back together and got the same result again.

I ordered a replacement, rear camera module (unfortunately, when i checked iFixits website, they dont offer that part). Hope that fixes my issue.

Samsung Galaxy S21: No charge, Not powering on, not recognized by PC

My Samsung S21 was acting a little funny the last week until it finally went into a reboot loop for a few minutes then just straight up died. I only noticed because my Samsung watch was buzzing when it disconnected so I pulled the phone out of my pocket and saw it trying to restart. It did this several times and then refused to turn back on. It won't charge by cable, it won't connect to a PC, and it briefly showed the circle with a lightning bolt with a wireless charge but now it's not even doing that.

I tried opening it up to see if there was any moisture in it (I sometimes wipe my phones off with a damp cloth) and saw nothing. I let it sit under a fan overnight just in case, still nothing. Checked the main connections, nothing.

What should I try here first? I am already buying another phone I just need the data off of this one, but I can't even get it to connect to my PC. There is no visible water or debris in the charge port and I've tried several cables.

Samsung Galaxy S21: My phone overheat after screen and battery replacement

P.s sorry for my English.

On 29/03/24, I asked a good review phone repair man to replace my phone's screen and battery. After repair, my phone was rubber-banded to give pressure and glue to bond. The next day, I removed the rubber band and started my phone, then I proceeded to use my phone as normally as a normal person (switching and opening apps, playing games, etc.) After a while, my phone started to overheat, and so did the usual close apps and remove the phone case. I thought it was a one-time event, but throughout the day, the phone kept heating up after a normal or heavy load.

The repairman screw up or I reduce to use one app at time
