Samsung Galaxy S21: OG selfie camera wont fit into new screen because of lower cam hole

My first repair ever. I replaced the original screen with a $90 screen/frame from Amazon. The new frame selfie camera hole is larger and lower that the original screen by about 2mm. The OG selfie camera will slide in but the "tail" to the pins is too long to allow installation. I tried to sort of fold it to make it shorter but it still laid "proud" of, above the original height so I couldn't install other parts. I put the phone back together without it for now. I assume I got an international frame not a US frame? Is there an aftermarket selfie cam that will fit? Thanks,

While I was using social media, my phone glitched, so I tried a hard reboot; it worked, but then it got stuck on the logo screen. I tried rebooting it again, and since then, it hasn't turned on at all, not even when connected to the charger.

In the ifixit guide by Alex Diaz-Kokaisl for Samsung S21 5G screen replacement, why is there no mention of adhesive when reversing the process to reassemble the back cover?

Hoping to get some input. I bought the unlocked USA version back in February. Since getting the phone I have had issues. It has no warranty.

I noticed little things at first with the phone like over heating(I've had this with all my galaxies but it wasn't too terrible) the screen would pop up with like a distorted colorful image when using apps or internet. Touch screen would not respond at times. I'd have to lock the phone then unlock.it to respond. Then my biggest headache is if I set my phone too hard the screen would go blank them I'd have to power and volume down to shut it off. Then it wouldn't come back on for over an hour then I could play around with volume up down and power then the phone would eventually turn on.

This got persistently worse so I tried updating the phone but it always failed. And if the phone got to 60% the phone would die fast or shut off with a drained battery.

2 days ago I updated it though the Samsung app and now I cannot use the phone at all.

The touch screen doesn't respond at all, the only way I got my personal stuff off it was hooking up wireless mouse and I have to work quick, the phone gets super hot then drains again fast once 60% happens.

I dont want to reset the phone because I don't think it's gonna help plus I'm buying a different phone so I can do a phone transfer

I do want to get the phone fixed but have no idea is this is firmware, touch screen, motherboard or battery issue. Any help or input is very welcome

Hello I did a water test my screen, gone I replaced screen bought dotted one at low price now back camera and recording mic is not working. I want to ask either its because of motherboard or camera? If I found a working camera would it work please any solutions.

I have dropped my phone into a sink for about 2 seconds however it seems like a lot of water has entered into my cameras . Both my front cameras and back cameras have water in them. So basically the fingerprint sensor on my S21 was working fine after a fresh battery replacement until I decided to update the software. Once the update was completed the fingerprint sensor was not working at all, even after deleting the old fingerprints and attempting to add a new fingerprint, it sometimes works and gets to 10-19% then fails. I used *#0*# to troubleshoot, DBIAS_CAPSENSE_CHECK and DBIAS_TUNES_DBIAS_VOLTAGE both failed at 0.

Has anyone ever faced this issue with the software before? From a quick search online it seems to happen rarely with software updates introducing bugs.

Hello, my GPS doesn't work, it doesn't find any satellites in the sky, that is, it doesn't do triangulation. The phone is new but no longer under warranty. After replacing the daughter board and lcd my sim card worked for a while, when I changed my Sim card it suddenly said limited network and 🚫 this sign. I tried to put back the sim I first inserted then it didn't came back. What should I do.

Last night when using my phone, it started freezing up intermittently out of nowhere. I started getting notifications about background services crashing (ie system up), which I figured were being restarted in the background and would fix my issues. Nope. It kept getting worse and worse to the point where at one point when I was putting my pin in on the Lock Screen, the screen timed out, and I couldn’t get it back on. I tried holding the power button, power + volume down, recovery mode, tried booting into download mode, tried plugging it in to power, nothing. the phone shows zero sign of life besides the fact that it is pulling current when plugged in to a charger.

Is it worth trying to take the back off the phone to disconnect and reconnect the battery? That’s the only thing I can think of at this point
