Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: Does my phone have a FM Receiver Chip in it?

I have a S20FE and checking out the specs online, it looks like it may have a built in FM IC and is capable of receiving local radio signals when using headphones as the antenna. However, it’s apparently just locked in certain countries. Like my phone has the hardware in it, but not the software capable to run it.

I’ve spent plenty of time looking online for various things I could do to activate this like downloading an apk to install the missing software but nothing seems to be working. I’m starting to wonder if maybe the phone doesn’t have the chip in it (I purchased the phone in New Zealand) or if it’s just really difficult to activate it.

I don’t really want to take open my phone to have a look either as it would break the IP68 water/dust protection and I don’t have any replacement seals, so if anyone who has seen the insides of a New Zealand model S20FE knows if there is a radio chip, I’d love to know please.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: Why isn't my usb c port working?

I just replaced the battery in my phone, i did everything as i was told by the guide and everything seems to be working except the usb c port.

It does not charge at all and only recognises my wired headphones, however it doesnt work with those either, just says usb connector plugged in.

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting all the cables in the guide multiple times and there doesnt seem to be any noticable damage kn the phone.

Currently im using the wireless charging (which actually works) to try to calibrate the new battery (the old one plugged back in didnt work either).

Any ideas before i try to buy and replace the usb c daughter board?

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: Connection point for sub flex cable damaged on mobo

Hello,

During a diy repair, I damaged the connection point ON the motherboard for the SUB flex cable. It no longer seats and the metal that normally secures the flex cable appears to have come off. Is there a work around here? The cable just needs contact with the mobo essentially right? Would specialized electrical tape work? Thanks ahead of time. The local cookie cutter repair shop here said there were no solutions but I don't know if that's true.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: S20 keeps saying moisture detected when a non-Samsung charger is in us

I just discovered recently that when I try to charge my phone with my MacBook usb-c charger it doesn't charge but immediately says moisture is detected and stops charging. It doesn't let's me charge with any other original Samsung charger after it. The port is not not wet obviously. And it happened with 2 different Mac charger. I usually "hack" my phone. I switch it off and start changing anyway. If I simply reboot it it doesn't help. Does anyone else have this problem? Can it be fixed? I would like to use other chargers too.
