Samsung Galaxy S10e: What caused a swollen battery on our S10e?

One of our Samsung S10e phones revealed a slightly bowed screen and back that was diagnosed as a swollen battery. It’s my wife’s phone that gets used often on extended calls and she complains of its getting hot. My identical S10e is relatively rarely used and hardly ever heats up. What might have caused hers to? They are both on wireless chargers most of the time.

Samsung Galaxy S10e: Person on other end of phone call can't hear me

Recently my phone seems to decide randomly that some numbers won't be able to hear me when I call them or they call me. This has been happening for only about a month now. This doesn't affect everyone, and it doesn't affect the same number every day. Today one of the numbers is for my vet's office which I was able to call no problem a few weeks ago. I've also called and had phone conversations with other people today without any issue. A few weeks ago it happened to the phone number for a company I was having a phone interview with despite working fine with a coworker’s number a few hours earlier. It will also occasionally hang up when someone picks up my call.

My phone is up to date, I have cleaned out my history (calling, browser, and voicemail), have not downloaded any new apps (I actually went through and deleted several ones I don't use anymore), have all my apps up to date, have not changed locations at all when calling these numbers, and confirmed that my mic does work. My phone hasn't taken any damage (water or physical) nor have I changed anything with my service recently. Apart from these issues with calling people my phone is working perfectly.

Please help! I am extremely frustrated and this is preventing me from being able to do things like pay vet bills.

Samsung Galaxy S10e: S10e water damage repair

Family friend dropped their phone into water whilst on holiday. When they got back I had a go at taking it apart, drying it out properly etc but no luck. The phone itself is a write off and they've already got a new one, but I am trying to get it running long enough just to get their holiday photos off of the device. They don't have hundreds and hundreds of pounds to spare so going to a professional is not possible, but I am happy to chuck some money in to get replacement parts.

Phone itself shows no sign of life, no noise, vibration or anything on screen at all, despite trying to turn on, reset etc. I've got a repair manual and first thing it says is to check the battery voltage, which was coming back as 0V. I've bought a replacement battery and that shows 3.8V but still no luck. I want to make sure I am measuring the battery properly (currently doing it when disconnected via the connector on the end of the ribbon cable).

I was wondering what the next steps would be, if any are possible? Or failing that anyway to get the data off of the device, but I assume that will be difficult/impossible as it will be encrypted.

Samsung Galaxy S10e: My data and text works, but my calls won't?

Samsung Galaxy s10e

I recently got this phone. I had a problem getting the sim to show up in the first place, and then later after reinserting it, it showed up. After I got my phone started and set up, i tried to make a call. It doesn't work. I hit the call button and not even a second of the screen popping up showing that it is calling, it ends the call. I called different numbers and it does the same thing. I went through multiple processes that it said online to do to fix this, and none of it helped. I think it is something internal, like the sim reader, or it is the sim card itself.

I also tried putting the sim card in my old phone and it the call rang, but the person i tried calling said they didn't receive a call.

__________________________________________

Update:

I tried a new sim card to see if my card was bad. It doesn't do it as well. It is the reader itself.
