Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus: Salvageable from water damage?

Whelp, my son decided to wade into the deep end of the pool on Labor Day, so I had to jump in to save him and didn't empty my pockets. I was in the water for maybe 10-15sec. Even though I have the 1TB version, good thing I saved all media and files to my 1TB SD card or else I'm assuming I'd have lost EVERYTHING. So, SIM card and MicroSD still works in my replacement S10+, no damage to them. All the content on the SD card is just fine, no issues at all. I didn't use the phone for several days afterwards, didn't charge it. It had shut itself off after a couple minutes after I got out of the pool. I took out SIM tray and laid it in front of my Dewalt cordless fan for a few days. I get no response now when I plug it into the wall charger, no response when I plug into my laptop (....strangely, my laptop running Win10 makes the "device connected" beeping sound when I plug the phone in but Explorer doesn't see the phone). I have unplugged the battery cable. It's just a dead phone now. Is ANYTHING from this salvageable? The upper right on phone internals look smoked. I don't know what those are.

Is there a way for me to diagnose the issue? I'm no electrician or small parts engineer. Is there a trusted company that can inspect/diagnose/repair? Would hate to just lose the entire value here. Everything worked perfectly with zero damage before the pool. Shouldn't the ROM still be good? Or the LCD screen? Is there parts value?

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus: Galaxy S10 won't turn on after battery change (it's not a bad battery)

Hi! I just did a battery replacement following the guide here, on iFixit, on my wife's Samsung Galaxy S10+ and everything was going on just fine, all the pieces where coming off as they were supposed to. In the end, I swapped the battery, but the new one in place and tested it to see if it would power up. It didn't, but I didn't think much of it, as the battery could be dead. I closed everything up and tried again. No joy. I powered on the phone and it did startup, then it stopped and showed the water damage warning. I used Isopropyl alcohol to loosen the adhesive and I had to use quite a lot. I didn't have a needle, so I had to improvise with the pick and slowly dripping it against the pick into the battery holder. There was some spillage, though, but I did dried it up with a cloth before connecting the battery. Anyway, I thought: well, it's alcohol. It was late, I just wanted to get to bed and, you know... it will dry up during the night and in the morning and it will be ok. I unplugged the phone and just left it there.

Morning came and I went to check on the phone. Now it won't even power on or show the water damage warning. I did a full tear down, checked the connections, checked for corrosion, everything I could possible think of and I can't find a reason why the phone seems dead (other than somehow the alcohol shortened a circuit in the board). I also used a blow dryer on the parts and that for sure got all the alcohol out. I also checked on the humidity sensor on the sim card and it wasn't tripped.

Does anyone know if there's any part that's essential to be connected, like an anti tampering sensor on the case, that prevents the phone from being turned on without a connection?

If someone has any ideas on how to further troubleshoot this, I'm all ears. I'm not an amateur on these types of repairs, so feel free to go as technical as you want. I saw a post by @oldturkey03, on another thread, with a flowchart of the troubleshooting process and I'm very much interested in following it, but I haven't seen the markings of the parts he's referring to, so I'd appreciate if someone has more information on how to find these parts or a more extensive guide.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

PS: I have, of course, tried to power on the phone with the old battery, which was still usable and had around 20% charge, and closed up the phone before plugging it in unsuccessfully

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus: Samsung Galaxy S10+ Replacment buttons

hi there, buttons (or button caps) on my Samsung galaxy S10+ Silver (International version) are starting to break (only one side would break, then the button would be half out, its still works, but its very annoying to use, because you are always afraid you will loose it) and fall out, first the bixby button broke which I never replaced because it was anoying button that got accidently pressed to much anyway

but now, volume button also decided to break

So I decided to treat my phone with new buttons

Now the question

I am based in Europe (in Slovenia) and was wondering how much I am supposed to pay for this buttons so I don't get ripped off

in china you can buy buttons very cheap like: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10050053...

but I am afraid the quality will be bad

then on amazon the shipping costs more then the button:

https://www.amazon.com/Button-Replacemen...

https://www.amazon.com/GinTai-Button-Rep...

So I am not sure how much should this buttons costs?

Also if there is any good store in Europe for parts like this

Thanks for Anwsering and Best Regards

Installed the replacement battery in my Galaxy S10+ about a week ago, following instructions. I fully charged it to 100% (plus 2 hrs) and let it die, then charged it again. I don't believe I use any heavy -draining apps; keep the screen fairly dim, don't watch many videos, etc. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
