Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0: Where to download stock firmware

Hi guys I my brother just gave me his note 8.0 now im having trouble because I think it has a malware virus and the firmware is rooted I want to change it to it's stock firmware

the note 8.0 is from the philippines ive been trying to download at sam mobile but unfortunately it has speed limit

I charged my tab for a couple hours and now can't get it to power on. I have tried several of the steps such as holding down power, home and volume buttons multiple times however I haven't been able to get that to work.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1: Half my screen is covered with colored lines. Can I fix this?

The screen is covered on one side by colored lines. If I accurately guess where input buttons are I can still navigate via touch screen so that is still working. I just cannot see the entire desktop because of the colored lines. The system was not dropped or jarred in any way...just turned it on and half the desktop is gone. Can I repair this myself or should I take it somewhere? (I am an IT guy) If I need to take it somewhere, where can I find a list of service centers? If I can fix it myself, I would love some advice.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1: Battery won't charge, replaced the battery and charging connector

I really could use some help. I have two Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets from customers that won't charge. Sometimes it gives a red cross through the battery and sometimes the icon is normal but the battery still does not charge.

On one of the tablets I already replaced the battery and the charging dock cable. But sadly it still does not charge. I also tried different USB cables and charging adapters both original and third party.

Both tablets have android version 4.2.2 on them. Is there possibly a problem with the software and how can I (re)calibrate the battery?

PLEASE HELP!!

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1: Unable to connect to Internet

When I try to use the internet I get a message stating that there is a "Connection Problem" or " Could not establish a secure connection ".

I have done a factory reset and the wifi is connected with a strong signal.

I tried speaking to Samsung but they were not helpful.

The tablet switches on and seems to function OK and I would just like to get some more use out of it.

I just recently bought a new note 10.1 and wanted to insert my macro sim with adaptor so i can use my inlimited data on tablet .But as i removed the sim after small pieces of metal came out as well and now i need to replace the sim card tray and i cant find any directions or manuals how i will do it

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014: Screen broken but not cracked?

Hi!

Recently, I accidentally nudged my tablet off of my bed, which is not very high. It fell to the ground and hit it quite lightly. However, the screen was flickering. Soon, the screen stopped flickering and all was well, but, after around 20 minutes, the screen flickered once more, but this time, instead of fixing itself, the flickering stopped and the screen seemed to die as such, leaving a grey coloured bar which takes up about a third of the screen. The area still works up there, but it is a solid light grey colour, with hints of whatever other colours are showing on the functioning part of the screen. I have reconnected the lcd cable multiple times. One thing is, this is a model which was refurbished (I think- purchased from ebay a long time ago), and it has some transparent green tape going across some areas, covering parts of the tablet. I can only guess that these are areas where repairs have happened, but I fear that that could be the problem. If someone could help me, it'd be greatly appreciated!

I tried to clean my chromebook with a spray bottle with soap in it and I only cleaned my keyboard and touch pad. I think water slipped in and now my keys are clicking on their own. Not working. Or acting as other keys. My touch pad is also glitched and sometimes does not move.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014: Not charging, screen flickering

Hi all, so I'm working on a friend's Note 10.1 2014 edition, and she brought it to me telling me it wasn't charging. I tried different cables, but the same thing happened - the battery symbol would show up (as drained) first, then the screen would start flickering. I left it charging for 2 hours and not even one bar would show up.

Then I found this forum with the exact same problem. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr...

So I looked into the USB charging port and sure enough, the pins were bent and damaged. So I ordered a new part, followed the guide here on replacing the charging cable inside. Plugged it in after the change - same exact problem.

I'm stumped and I can't find any others having this issue. What do you think? Bad motherboard?

My samsung galaxy note 10.1, 2012 edition, seems to have lost one or more of its colors. The tablet works normally other than what appears to be a loss of "red" color. Is it the display or some other component? I opened the case and checked all the connectors I could find. All are intact.

Ok long story short I let my 9 year old use my girlfriend's tablet ( that she had just gotten for Christmas). We swears he never dropped it and I believe him. He said he was watching YouTube and the screen just went black. I've played with it off and on. I know a few things about flashing, rooting, and roming. I got the battery icon to flash on 1 time and never again. Any help would get my son and I out of the doghouse
