Samsung Galaxy Note 4: How do I check for water damage?

A week ago I accidentally dropped my phone in my kitchen sink. My phone was soaked and I immediately dried it off and put it in a bag of rice. I've left it for the past week and it seems dry now. I tried to turn on the phone, but it still doesn't power on. Is there any way to know if the phone is permanently damaged from the water?

My phone turned off by itself and then didn't turn back on. I removed the battery and let it sit for a while and then put it back on and still didn't turn on. After morr than one hour and half it turned on but later in thr night it did the same. Then I did a Reset using Recovery Booting. The next day it turned off again but after 10 minutes Iit turned on back and now it did the same and doesn't turn on. It turns of till I see the Samsung logo and then it turns off and on again just to see the Samsung logo. And when it worked after I did the reset I went to the software upgrade and it said that my opersting system has been modificated in an unauthorizate way. Does anyone knows what the problem might be?

Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Phone won't turn on or charge after power outage? Is my phone fried?

Hi.

I had my note 4 charging on a power strip while I slept. During my sleep, a power outage occurred. When I woke up, my phone wasn't turning on even though it was still plugged in. However, there was a red LED light showing on the top left (which means low battery). I took out the battery and put it back in to completely shut down the phone. Plugged the phone back in and the phone did not turn on or vibrate to indicate that the phone was charging. The power strip still works and I tried charging my phone with different charging cables, charging heads, and outlets, it still wouldn't charge/turn on. I even tried everything with a different battery and still didn't work. I tried soft resetting and boot into safe mode, didn't work.

Did the power going back on cause a surge and fried my phone's circuitry?

I don't really want to replace my phone at the moment. What should I do? Can it be fixed? If I need to get it fixed, where would I go to do that?

Thanks.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Unresponsive to touches and blank screen after dropped

I dropped my Note 4. Now screen is blank and doesn't respond to touches. I have display on HDMI. But because it is locked, I cannot enter any PIN. If I remove the SIM card, then McAfee security locks the phone and waits for an other PIN. If I connect to the PC and run Smart Switch, it says the connection mode should be MTP. I thought using a mouse, but I haven't bought a Bluetooth mouse yet and I cannot enter a PIN on HDMI to turn on the Bluetooth. Also I have Mobizen app but it says I have to update it on the phone. I want to try soft reset, but I don't want to loose my stuff. Does soft reset is a factory reset? I looked at the questions and comments on this site and saw two ways to reset: remove battery, wait 1 min pressing power button; and pressing home and power button 10 sec together. Which one is true?

Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Note 4 No Sign of Life

I've been trying to get this Galaxy Note 4 working, and it is showing no signs of life. When it is plugged in, the notification light does not show. I have tried every combination of buttons I've heard, and it won't do anything. It doesn't vibrate, the notification light does not turn on, and the screen does not turn on.

I tested for voltage on the battery terminals with the battery out and the charger connected, and it shows 4.19 volts.

I have replaced the battery with a known working battery, and it did not act any differently.

I'm pretty certain at this point that it's a hardware issue, but what can I check? Being that I'm getting voltage at the battery, I know the charging port is working properly. The only other thing I can think of is something on the motherboard is bad, but of course if anyone has any idea, I'd love to hear them!

Updated with pictures...

I just removed the motherboard for simplicity in the picture.

Tested the battery again... It is showing 3.79V. Still no sign of life. Where is PWR7000? And the other things, for that matter.

Update 2: I removed the cover, everything looks to be alright. The scratch on it is just from a screwdriver... my mistake!
