Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Which boards will fit into a SM-N900 screen assembly

I have an original screen assembly taken from a galaxy note 3 SM-N900. The metal frame is cut slightly differently from the frame of a SM-N9005. The board from a N9005 can be connected to it no problem, the display and digitizer connectors are the same, but because of the slightly different shape of the metal frame, a N9005 board can't be fitted properly, and the phone can't be screwed back together.

I'm trying to source a note 3 motherboard so I can build a working phone using this screen assembly, and I would like to know if any note 3 boards other than the N900 will fit in this screen assembly.

Thanks.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Note wont turn on

I have a Note 3 tmobile version with a cracked screen. I have another of the same model with no issues. I bought a screen and when it did not work, I tried placing the motherboard of the broken phone with the working one. It would not boot. But, the working phone’s board is fine with the broken screen. The broken screen lights up, but has no touch. So, I am trying to get it to work for data recovery purposes. Any ideas? Are there slight variations within the same model?

Samsung Galaxy Note 3: No Display, No Power and No LED Lights whatsoever Galaxy Note 3

I have a Galaxy Note 3 that has been an incredible phone. Went to bed last night with the phone on the charger and was at 64%. Woke up this morning to a completely dead non functioning phone. I have a spare battery and it’s own Samsung charging case so I know it’s not the battery. I’ve tried every combination of hard and soft resets, and even had the mid case off looking at the connection ports. It’s probably time for a new phone, but is there anyway to get the photos off the phone now?

Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Samsung Galaxy note 3 neo is not displaying anything

So I ultimately broke my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo Duos out of a fit of anger after owning it for 3 years. As regretful as I am, I would like to get it it patched up. However, I would like some verification on its malfunctions and guidance on how I should get my phone fixed.

So first off, the screen is cracked all the over the place. All you can see on the physical screen are white lines of glass across the phone. So definitely a screen replacement is required, however the digital display is completely blank. Nothing can be seen when it is switched on except for the back button and the menu button next to the home button on the bottom of the phone. During the first few minutes after it broke, some parts of the screen were visible however the majority of the screen was dead, so i think an LCD replacement is needed?

I’m not sure about the touch screen now but in the first few minutes of testing it after I broke it I couldn’t make out if the screen was responding to any of my actions because I could barely see a single thing from the screen. It was definitely turning on but also very difficult to see what was going on because a very large portion of the screen was blacked out and the other part was heavily darkened.

The phone is currently in a bag so to prevent any injuries caused by the glass of the fractured screen.

Cameras look fine and the back compartment of the phone looks untouched.

Please if someone could help me that would be much appreciated thanks.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Colour of Polarizer film - how can I get black?

Hi There,

My note 3, which I like very much, has had it's fair share of bumps and knocks and finally the glass cracked.

I've completed a glass only repair on it before but this time I went for the full thing and bought a new mid frame. So I've got the screen out intact ready to switch over to the new midframe but I need to replace the polarizing film. Problem is I've ordered 2 different ones from ebay now and both were grey colour and not black like OEM.

Does anyone know where I can get black polarizing film for this display and does the colour matter? I want it to look completely OEM.

Thanks,

My note 3 recently stopped charging, it shows its plugged in but stays on 0%, and after a few power up attempts wouldn't power up at all. but would vibrate when i plug in the charger so it was responding. after looking online, i thought that buying a new replacement battery would fix the issue. and to my surprise it did, phone was working like normal again. i only used original cables and adapter with the new battery as i read this could be an issue.

2 weeks in the same thing has happened, wont charge yet its plugged in.

now im thinking the its an issue with the phone.

also tried cleaning the charging port and wiping cashe nothing has worked so far.
