Samsung Galaxy Note9: Samung Note 9: How easy is it to replace buttons

How hard is it to replace the exterior bixby and power buttons on the Note 9? Mine have broken off and now I need to use my finger nail or a small flat head to use them in any capacity. If it's as easy as replacing the entire button daughter boards, I'll just do that at the same time as replacing the battery. Also by opening the phone and doing said repairs and using the ifixit glue repair parts will the phone still be water resistant?

Edit:

If it isn't clear I'm referring to the external plastic buttons. It appears that the plastic on the inside that held them in place sheared off.

Samsung Galaxy Note9: Screen flicker persists after screen replacement

My Note 9 had a broken screen, USB port, and a close to worn out battery, and after a long saga trying to get support for the device, ended up replacing all three myself. Just after a prior attempt to get the phone fixed, uBreakiFix took it apart, and shortly after, the screen started flickering rapidly and discoloring when at higher brightness on an app with a lot of white.

After replacing the screen, USB port, and battery, the screen flickering is still there, although slightly less severe, and I'm baffled as to what the problem is. Based on it only happening when the screen is displaying a lot of white, and given how OLED screens work, it almost seems like it's not getting enough power, suggesting a problem with the motherboard. I tried wiping the cache, rebooting, turning auto screen brightness on and off, etc, nothing works.

After sinking over $350 into it, I think my Note 9 is basically dead. :( Does anyone have an idea of what's going on with it, or if there is a fix?

Samsung Galaxy Note9: Dead after screen replacement

Hello all, so as the title indicates I have a Note 9 that had a screen replacement done and now doesn’t power up, vibrate, light up, nothing, it’s completely dead and only drawing 60mili amps when plugged in.

At first I thought I killed the battery when pulling it out…maybe shorted it out with ISO, so I ordered a new battery, and well, no change what so ever.
With the phone back in the original screen frame, I get the exact same thing, when as before the disassembly, it worked perfectly fine, albeit with a cracked screen.

I’ve read that a damaged fingerprint sensor could cause this, or the wireless charging pad. Does anyone have additional information on this?
Thanks in advance.

Samsung Galaxy Note9: Phone being accessed via unknown WIFI

Hello. I have an app on my Note9 called Traced. It is a security app that seems to be pretty helpful. Several times a day, I will turn off adata and turn on airplane mode. Right after, I check ‘events log' in the Traced app and it advises me that my device has disconnected from an unsecured wifi network. I have gone through the wifi control/ access permissions in settings on my phone to make sure every app or option that could habe access to wifi does not. And, I still continue to get these disconnected notification messages.

I am the plantiff in a legal suit which is involves several very high profile people, as well billion dollar companies. Since the start of this case, many aspects of my life are being surveillanced. I fear that my phone connecting/ disconnecting to WIFI is another way, which this surveillance is being carried out.

Is there a way that I can remedy this and have almost absolute control of my WIFI, or at least the moment when my connects to a network?

Thanks.

Samsung Galaxy Note9: Poor/Muffled Microphone, Speaker Works Great — Why?

Yo,

My microphone quality was awful. I purchased a replacement microphone/charge port and installed it with no issues. However, the quality is still terrible both in phone calls and utilizing a voice-recording application.

Despite this my voice quality while using the ‘speaker phone’ during calls is excellent.

What’s up with that?

Anyone got any ideas on how I’d go about fixing this?
