Hello, I have a Samsung Note 8 (N950F) device that has turned off and now that I have tested it with the power supply, it remains constant at 0.30 amps. I connected it to the computer, but it did not connect to the computer. Is it possible that the problem is with the device's hard drive and it can be fixed with Ribal?

Samsung Galaxy Note8: Phone charges and holds charge but won't turn on

So after using the note 8 in my B-I-Ls pool (which turned out to be Saline and not Chlorine) the phone seemed to just die and has not turned on since.

It does however hold a charge, and the led light works, but I don't get any other feedback or function from it.

I have tried all combinations of button presses etc but all with no luck.

Is it likely to be the motherboard, amd does that mean all photos on the phone are gone forever?

I've had this phone since new, used it for about two years, when suddenly overnight I lost all cell service. I was working fine when I plugged it in but when I woke up, it showed no bars and the signal strength says "0". I switched to my spare phone and pulled the back off(after the signal issue) as the battery was getting poor on this phone, but I would like it as a spare. Where does one start about the signal issue?

Wifi calling does work.

In service mode menu it does say: ASM MIPI DEVICE FAIL

Hi all

Happy New Year! looking for some guidance/help I have a galaxy note 8 working perfectly up until an update and then it crashed, ever since then I’ve failed to get it to restart, I’ve done the usual power button plus the volume up , volume down and Bixby button methods, all those possible solutions I’ve already tried, sometimes it will boot up so I can get into the maintenance functions to clear cache, reboot or reset etc, but thats as far as it gets and then crashes again, so has anybody got any solutions to what it could be or what needs repairing.

I have a note 8 phone that fell and there's a small crack with a black circle next to the edge, the phone worked fine until i started using it as a Hotspot it got too hot and the screen went black completely… but in some instances the screen works with max brightness… and when I lock the screen… it would go back to being black again… everything works fine… the touch and all…

I don't think I need a new screen? Or do I? Maybe the problem is a loose wire? Because the screen works… < whenever it wants to?

Samsung Galaxy Note8: Note 8 error has occurred updating device software

I have a note 8 which I’ve tried flashing multiple times as when I received it it was stuck on “error has occurred updating device software” but to no avail. I’m either getting operation “successful 0-1 fail” or it’s stuck analysing. I’ve tried an-n950u and f version but haven’t used U1 versions. Would this change anything or is there no point as this device seems to outright refuse any sort of flashing. I am also unable to get any device info as it won’t let me leave the drive software screen so if anyone knows a way to grab the serial number or imei that would be awesome.

Hello,

I noticed that my phone was taking too long to charge and the notification while charging is cable charging. To solve the problem i already tried to use different chargers, Wipe cache and restart on safe mode.

Other symptoms are that it do not show the charging screen while turned() off and i cant turn it on while charging.

edit : today i found out that it is not charging while turned off
