This week I could not get my phone past 69% of charging. I saw that it said that it would be 100% charge in about 39 min but a hour past and it did not pass 69%. Should I change the battery.

Samsung Galaxy Note5: Why Is the New Back Glass not Flush with the Mid-Frame and Flash?

Hello,

I have finished replacing the back glass on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. I noticed that the back glass is not sitting flush with the mid-frame and the heart rate sensor/flash even after pressing on the back glass focusing on these areas for over a minute.

Are there any solutions to solve these gaps?

Samsung Galaxy Note5: Phone turns off when charger is unplugged

When unplugged from charger the phone boots up to the samsung animated logo but just the start doesn’t finish the animation just 1-2 secs then restarts. But when the charger is connected it successfully boots until i unplug the charger then it turns off.

I’ve tried factory reset using stock recovery and twrp. I also tried flashing custom roms and still same result.

Just new to this, please tell me its not the power ic…

Hello,

I am planning to replace the battery and the back glass of my Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and I have paused at an issue. The mid-frame is partially blocking the back glass, making it more difficult to remove.

I also need to install a new back glass without problems, so is there a simple way to solve this issue, or is it unnecessary to worry about it?

Samsung Galaxy Note5: S pen clicking mechanism gets stuck no clicking out?

So like every other note 5 users I click a lot the new cool stylus or S pen. And now it clicks down and stuck there it's workable when out of the phone. But when it's in i have to leave it un clicked or else it's stuck? And I Gotta pull it out with needle. Can I fix it?

Hello,

My Samsung Note 5 is working fine till today. For some reason, once I unplug the charger, my phone will shut down by itself. However, when I plug in again, I can on it with no problem. By the way, I have fast charging but it’s charging slower than normal though it still says fast charge. (It takes around 10min to charge 1 min). Tried pressing the back of my phone (push battery back) and also plugging to phone but unplugged from output. Anyone has any ideas on how I can fix it? Or must I replace a new battery? If it is the battery’s problem, may I know which part is broken?

Hello IFixIt, I recently had a problem with the phones screen and I went ahead and fixed it with the tutorial on here. However after basic use and some tests I found out this weird line that impairs the average daily use. Any fix/idea on what it is? I think it is a problem with the phones LCD, Let me know what you think.

i have a Samsung galaxy with a heavily damaged charging port, and here on ifixit there is only Verizon and AT&T charging assemblies...only issue is the note5 i have is locked to sprint.... would i be able to use a at&t charging assembly...?

My phone just stopped working and in trying to troubleshoot I see a series of steps JUST to get the back off it seems a bit "techie" to me and I don't want to mess it up more I can't afford to replace it let a lone buy a new one but I NEED MY PHONE!

The screen is black. Then when I finally finished restarting and it shows my homescreen it suddenly freezes and the same blinking white light will appear and take a long time to restart which takes up a lot of my battery power. This has been going on for 2 days.

Samsung Galaxy Note5: Unable to flash official ROM due to FRP block

My phone went into a boot loop and now it boots right into download mode or displays a message saying connect to Samsung switch and do an emergency repair.

Connecting to Samsung switch or kies doesn't work as it does not detect that the phone needs an emergency repair.

This lead me to using Odin and downloading an official ROM from Sammobile. I have made sure to download the correct file however, when flashing with Odin, the process fails at the end with the phone displaying a message saying something about FRP lock.

This is a problem since download mode is the only mode my phone will boot into so even though I know my email and password, I don't get to the screen to enter it.

What are my options in this case? How can I fix the software issue or bypass the FRP lock so that I can fix my issue?
