I was charging my Note 20 Ultra one day and using it at the same time. Literally all of a sudden the screen goes black and nothing on the display. I can hear the Facebook Videos playing and a phone call came through but screen remained black.

Phone was only 2 years old. Never been dropped, always had a protective case and screen protector.. never got wet.

Just wanted to explore options before last resort of getting the screen replaced.

Any help will be appreciated

New note 20 5g bought April 2021, took a rock to the screen and display, this phone model is sm-n981u1. Bought new screen, display, and frame, switched out the innards from old phone in to new phone, power it on and all I have is a snowy screen, model of replacement is sm-n981. I switch the innards back to old phone and now i have snowy screen as where before the switch i had my display working in old phone. Would this be the motherboard main display flex cable issue, or the motherboard?

phone charges slowly and total cuts the connection when plugged into my auto will come back on after unplug and re plug, sometimes have to do couple of times, also shows message 'trickle charge' changed cords (a couple times) it will charge but slowly

I have a Samsung galaxy note 20 5g model number SM-N981U the outter front screen and the lcd screen is broke. It has a black spot in the middle of the screen. It got broke by my dog jumping up and the top of her head hit the middle of the screen hard enough to break it. How hard is it to change the outter and lcd screen?

The flash at the back never turns off, it barely affects the battery however it is very annoying, the only time it turns off is when the phone is powered off, however when I click the flash button on my phone it only gets brighter but doesn't turn off, what should I do

Samsung Galaxy Note20 5G: Display Dead After Battery/Charge Port Replacement

I replaced the battery and usb-c charge port of my device. Before sealing the back cover on, I checked that the device turned on and functioned normally. I was able to unlock phone and open a few apps without any abnormalities.

However, after I turned the device off, sealed the back cover, then restarted the device, I noticed white lines going horizontally across the screen, as well as flickering. The display's colors seemed to be distorted as well. I tried restarting the device and charging it but it only made it worse.

It's now to the point where the display will not turn on anymore, though I'm still able to hear the phone's vibrator and alarms going off.

I've tried replacing the new components with the old battery and old usb-c charge port but I didn't notice any changes. I've even tried reseating all the connectors and looking for any damage to the pins and ribbon cables.

Things that could have gone wrong:

when removing the battery, some 91% isopropyl alcohol did spill into the rest of the components
screws may have gotten mixed up (most of them seem to be the same size however & I made sure everything was fixed well into place)

Does anyone have any idea what else I could try doing to troubleshoot? It's really strange because my device seem to work perfectly fine initially and only got worse after charging. Any help would be VERY much appreciated.
