So about a month ago i decided to replace the original battery in my Note 10, as it wasn't holding enough charge to last a full day.

I ordered replacement battery straight from ifixit, hoping that a more recently produced one would be less degraded then an original one that most likely sat in a warehouse for past few years.

Well... the surgery was a success and the patient is still alive, but the battery life on a new part is about the same as on the old part....

I'm pretty sure i performed the callibration properly, and my usage habbits are pretty much the same for the past two years....

Could the new battery be more degraded then i thought? Or could it be some user error on my side?

I purchased a new battery to give some life to my aging Samsung Galax Note 10 (N970U). After completing the replacement process, I tested the phone and fingerprint sensor is not functioning. It shows fingerprint but does not recognize anything. Also, in biometrics and security settings I get error if I try to add a fingerprint. I have verified connectors and all seem ok. i might get a replacement connector if i could figure out the one used for fingerprint.

আমার স্যামসাং নোট টেন ফোনটি আমার হাত থেকে পড়ে গিয়ে ক্রেক হয় পরবর্তীতে ফোন ঠিকভাবে চললেও একসময় মাঝখানের দাগ দাগ দেখা দিয়ে পুরো স্কিন কালা হয়ে গেছে এখন ডিসপ্লে তে কিছু বোঝা যায় না কিন্তু টাচ দিলে কাজ করে এরকম শব্দ বোঝা যায় ডিসপ্লে শুধু কালা হয়ে থাকে আমি চাচ্ছি ডিসপ্লেটার নতুন করে রিপ্লেসমেন্ট করতে নতুন ডিসপ্লের দাম কিরকম হতে পারে এবং কোথায় পাওয়া যাবে একটু বিস্তারিত বলেন।

I replaced my Samsung Note 10 Battery once I noticed that it wasn't holding that much.

Both my first and second replacements were pretty much useless. In less than 30 mins of normal usage the battery goes from 100% to 0%

I replace the camera with the ifixit replacement, when I change it it says “error, camera failed”. I try everything but I cannot fix this issue, I put back the old broken camera to try if is not the new camera, but the old one has no problems. So I try the new camera in another apps for example instagram or snapchat and it work but only in that apps in the camera app doesn’t work. So how can i fix this issue? or is the code for the camera?

Have a friend whom has asked me to look at her phone as after installing an update, she can no longer make calls or send / receive texts.

Her data however, is working fine and she can browse the internet or use the phone as a hot spot to watch netflix / youtube, etc.

I havn’t been able to get the phone from her to check anything unfortunately, and I have a few ideas, but I havn’t come across this problem before and wouldn’t mind some additional ideas to help me with troubleshooting.
