Took my 2017 samsung j3 (sm-j327a) to a repair shop to replace the battery. Original samsung battery specs were nominal voltage 3.8V, 9.88 Wh, charge voltage 4.35V, 2600 mAh.
Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro: audio sounds like its coming from the back of the phone

Technically im using a j3 star but that wasnt an option. I spilled a drink and it dripped into the speaker, so my first reaction was to wrap my finger around my shirt and use my nail to get into the speaker hole to dry it up. But either it was too late or I pushed the speaker in too far because now when I try to play something through my phone speaker the vibrations dont actually go through the speaker hole they end up vibrating through the material on the back of the phone. I verified this by taking off the back of the phone and sure enough it was louder. I tried using a tooth brush in the speaker hole to see if something was causing a blockage but the problem was still there. Should I wait for it overnight to dry and retry the toothbrush method or have I pushed the speaker too far inside of itself?

Samsung Galaxy J3: Galaxy J3 2016 appears to be dead, but makes charging sound

Hello. So a good friend of my father, gave him his old J3 2016.

He said that it had a problem. So my father gave it to me to take a look, and the phone appeared to be dead. No signs of life whatsoever. But when i plugged it to my charger, the phone make the classic Samsung charging sound! I left it to charge for hours and came back, but it was still dead. My PC recognizes it, and by right clicking on it, i can see that the battery is 100% charged, the firmware version, and the serial number. Kies 3 recognizes it too, but it claims that the phone is locked. The phone is still looking like it's dead. No matter what i try. (Yes i tried to boot in recovery and download mode, nothing)

Any ideas?

Update (04/28/2018)

I also noticed that when i hold the home and power buttons, i can hear the "screenshot sound".

It's looking more and more like a dead screen, but shouldnt the touch buttons light up in that case?

Shouldn't the phone vibrate on boot?

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016): How do repair my motherboard?

I dropped my phone in the hot tub. I got a brand new J3 to replace it with but want my videos, pictures, text messages, phone book and whatever else back. I've tried swapping out screens and battery but to no avail. It won't turn on or take a charge. I'm fairly certain the problem lies in the motherboard somewhere, because the new phone won't work using the old screen or the old phone's battery. The phone heats up when I plug it into a wall charger. Using a new and complete motherboard means losing ALL of my data. So can I use my old memory chips (or whatever they are called) on my new motherboard to recover my data? If so, how and what is involved?
