I just had my aux port replaced, now the media control button (on my headphones) doesn't register when i press it, it'll work on my other devices. and the back touch pad is barely registering now. its number is SM-J327V (all the SM-J327 models seem to be the same to me at least).

Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime: My J3 Prime doesn't look like the manuals, how do I open it

I have the annoying problem of being told my SD card has been decrypted. Apparently, the only fix is to remove and re-install the SD card: but I can't open the case. All of the manuals and videos and "how to's" say to pry open the case next to the volume controls. My J3 Prime has a rubber case that goes entirely around the phone, with a very fine separation line that goes around the outside. I can't find instructions on how to open this? It definitely says it's a J3 Prime when I start it, and "About Device" says it's a J3 Prime SM-J327T.

Just took my Samsung J4 core in for repair, after it took a hard fall.

It came back with the display screen cropped.

the navigation buttons are cropped in half…and the display screen looks smaller than it looked before the phone broke.

Hello,

I wanted to take this apart in order to assess some of the water damage it has, and to attempt to salvage it. (it went through a clothes washer)

I don't have any special tools besides a screwdriver kit, I have no way of (safely) heating it up. Is there any way to get it apart without heating it up?

can anyone help me to get a samsung galaxy j3 luna pro to turn on without going to blue screen

If I can get it to start... I see the phone name and then it goes to the blue screen. Or it will show phone screen then go blank then start this all over again probably for about six times then goes dead. Can't get into any other screen.

parts shop on here isn't listing a battery for the j327a or any 2017 model. the 2015/2016 battery listed shows a message saying it won't work for the 2017, though the specs make it seem like it could be compatible.

**is it true that the 2015/2015 battery listed in the ifixit parts shop doesn't work with the 2017?

where could I find a reputable/safe/new battery replacement for the j327a 2017?

hi yeah i went to the store and bought a rotiserie chicken and when i got home i didnt think nothing of it and threw my phone in with the chicken when i took it out of the bag it was drowning in chicken juice so i immediately took the battery out and dried it out for like three days i put the battery back in it and it powered on but i couldnt see nothing but a black screen is there anything i can do to fix it

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016): Why does my phone occasionally have a black screen while vibrating?

Sometimes when I have my phone charging or in sleep mode for a while (usually not longer than 4ish hours), the phone screen will be black and unresponsive and the device vibrates. It's one long, continuous vibration and the flashlight also turns on.

I am unable to restart it with the power button and the only way to stop it is to remove the battery, then reinsert the battery and turn it on with the power button.

I've had this device for about 5.5 years now and it has been dropped a few times and was repaired at a shop after a shattered screen in 2019. Does this sound like a hardware or a software problem? I'm worried it will stop working before I can afford to buy a new phone. Any and all answers are appreciated!

Took my 2017 samsung j3 (sm-j327a) to a repair shop to replace the battery. Original samsung battery specs were nominal voltage 3.8V, 9.88 Wh, charge voltage 4.35V, 2600 mAh. The shop gave me a Duracell CEL11669G which is 3.8V, 8.4Wh, 2200 mAh. Is it safe to use this battery in my phone?

Galaxy J3 prime: Lines on the face of my computer

My phone slipped from my hands and fell face down on the floor. When I picked it up there were long lines on the right side of the face; otherwise there were small verticle lines up and down the face of the cellphone. The phone will not respond except of be powered down or restarted.
