Samsung galaxy core prime: How do I fix Horizontal lines on my screen?

My phone is showing thin black horizontal lines on the screen, so it looks a bit like the screen of 1980s television. It covers the entire phone, and it happened a few days after the screen protector on the top right corner of the phone cracked. Otherwise, the phone still looks fine. It wasn't that bad at first, the screen just looked like the display was only showing every other line, but when i accidentally put pressure on the top right corner of the phone (where the screen protector cracked), it got worse and started looking like how I explained it above.

I charged my phone to 95%, plugged it out and immediately, the screen turned black and I couldnt turn it back on no matter what I did. I tied remving the battery, removing the sim card, leaving it to charge (also when I tried to plug it in nothing happened) for 48hrs, rebooting it and pretty much everything you can think of. I asked my friend and she told me that trying to repair it would probably cost more than buying a new phone. I ve also been experiencing battery problems for a few months now, it would get to around 50%, turn off and when I turned it back on it would be on 1%. can someone please give me some advice.

My phone read T-Mobile update available when I tried to update the phone it says update failed at 92% now the phone won't turn on. When I press the power button it vibrates and shows the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime powered by android screen and is stuck there.

I am located in the Caribbean at the moment.

Can you help me with this problem I have only had the phone for about 6 months

I was browsing through net then suddenly my touchpad stopped working. Display was clear though but touchpad was not working. Then i googled about it and came to know that i have to remove the battery and press the power button for 60seconds and then place the battery back and switch it on. But after placing the battery back, The phone is not getting switched on

Samsung Galaxy Core Prime: Are similar samsung batteries interchangeable?

So, my phone model is an SM-S820L. I'm having trouble finding batteries for it, but have found a lot for model SM-G360P. It looks pretty similar, and I'm wondering if I can use the battery for that model in my phone. (Both of these are Galaxy Core Primes, I think, but SM-S820L seems to be a somewhat "rare" model, as a lot of places don't seem to know what it is...)

Also, do I need a SIM card to use the phone, or can I just work off WiFi?

I want to try replacing a broken USB connector/port on a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G361F). Yes I know, it requires microsoldering and rework station and skill and luck. I still want to give it a shot :)

Ordering a replacement USB port from farnell.com, how can I know which model exactly do I need? Is there a better way, than just visually comparing and "guessing"?Where can I get this information in general? How to read USB connector/port model names?

My phone seems to have a very poor wifi signal when Im not in the same area as the router. I have tried many you tube guides and even factory reseting it, so Im kinda thinking its a hardware problem. Is there any way to replace the wifi antenna? If so where Is it located and where can I buy one?

Hello,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime model SM-G360V. None of my chargers will work with it besides for my old Motorola DROID 2 GLOBAL charger that I just happened to have, but that only works sometimes. The camera area also gets noticeably hot and the battery dies fairly quickly. Could this possibly just be a bad battery?

I've had my phone for about a year so its not super old. I always have the case on and it has not suffered great falls. I tried taking the battery out method which didn't work. I also tried charging it for a couple of hours, in case the battery was dead but I'm sure it wasn't because it was on the charger when it decided to be dead forever. The only thing is my phone has had a random green line mainly noticeable when the screen is off. The green line looks like when you press way to hard on your screen. It also if I do push hard on my screen the line moves closer to where I'm pressing. Its been there for only about a month and really only noticeable when the screen is off. Did something break in my phone that caused it not to turn on?
