Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus: Sound Balance issue, one bud is suddenly way too quiet

While using just the left bud, it suddenly got very quiet. I assumed the battery had run down, but it hadn’t. Both buds still work, but the left bud volume is MUCH softer, so as to be unusable.

I’m trying to decide if this is a mechanical issue or software issue.

The problem occurs across multiple devices, after unpairing/repairing, and with and without the Wear app. The software is up to date through the Wear app.

The bud is not visibly clogged, but is there a way to take off the metal sound screen for cleaning? The teardown video doesn’t show this.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus: Microphone audio unusable in one ear Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus

My left earbud has really bad audio. The right earbud sounds fine but the left one isn't as loud and it has a hissing sound similar to TV static or a high pitched squeal.

I'm pretty sure this is because of the buildup in the tiny holes (which I assume are for the microphones) on each ear bud getting clogged with debris and gunk (maybe I broke the mic by inserting toothpicks in too far too many times) and that these have been drenched in water and I have not dried them fast enough with a heat gun.

I have used 99% Isopropyl Alcohol but nothing seems to get the left earbud's mic to work properly again.

Any idea on where to go from here? I have not decided to open them up but I have the tools to do so and that might be the only way.

Thanks for your time for reading this

Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus: Intermittent Battery Disconnection / Powering Off By Itself

After extensive use, drops, charges, and a battery replacement (looking to replace again soon after almost 2 years), the left earbud is having issues staying on and connected.

The past week or two had the left earbud causing more excessive buzzing than it usually makes while occasionally dropping connection altogether then reconnecting by itself soon. Sometimes it'd stop the buzzing after shaking my head a little. While there's no obvious indicator it's on other than wearing it, the Samsung Wearables app indicates it's not connected, even when it's actively sitting in a plugged-in charging cradle and flipping closed then open after some time.

After hearing it softly buzz while not making a connection and the charger's inner light green when placing the clearly not full earbud in, it seems the battery is losing contact. Squeezing the earbuds from touch end to charging contact terminals causes it to turn on and operate as usual, for now. I assume it's only going to get worse and curious what could be done to permanently, or long-term, fix this.
