So I was checking my bag, when I pulled out my clothes from my bag, my phone fell, but I dropped it when my bag was low near the ground, I used the phone in a bus, it worked, but when I was at home, and I couldn't press anything, when I click it, it doesn't work, the back and the other button works though.
Samsung Galaxy A3 2016: What can I do to fix a pink/purple screen with a white vertical line?

About a month ago, I dropped my phone killed my screen and I had it fixed.

Last night while I was charging my phone, it fell!

When I picked it up the first thing I noticed is that it had a vertical white line that ran from top to bottom and the area where the line was located could no longer work.

Then I noticed some pink/purplish lines running in all directions on the screen!

Now the whole screen is a pinkish purplish colour and the part of the screen where the white line was originally located has started to turn black, it is slowly progressing and I am guessing that by the end of the day my screen will be completely black.

Also, my screen isn't broken!

Samsung Galaxy A3 2016: Why is my phone not charging?

hey I have a A3 that is less then a year old. I have noticed that the battery over the past couple of weeks has not been keeping a strong charged like it did when I first got it. I know that I haven't been using it as much as I was before (because it cut off), so I know that its not due to over use. I haven't down loaded any thing that would drain the battery (couple of card games) .

however using the phone all the way down to 2% I thought I would charged it over night, only to discover that it wasn't changing at all.

I have changed the leds and that hasn't made any difference, it still didn't charge.

I have reset it many times, cleaned the charging port but nothing!!

can someone please help?

Samsung Galaxy A3 2016: Power on from motherboard

Hello,

I have a Galaxy A3 2016 ( 310F) with a broken LCD. The phone is pretty much destroyed everywhere so I have not intention of re-assembling. I have connected the new display and when I connect the USB cable the display lights up with the battery % charge. When I press the home button the same screen pops up.

However I seem to be having issues actually booting the phone.

I tried it like this guide:

https://youtu.be/yIp51gcTcpQ?t=882

But that doesn't seem to do anything.

Are there any other ways of booting the phone from the motherboard, or am I doing something wrong?

Or do I have to take out the b atteryu and pop it back in?

Samsung Galaxy A3 2016: Black screen of death, but can't shut down

Hello,

So I recently got the black screen of death problem of my Samsung Galacy A3 (2016). I went on to read about the possible solutions, including forced restart, forced shutdown, safe mode and recovery mode. Forced restart works, still no screen though, then the actual problem starts. The device cannot be shut down via holding down the power button.(I also read I have to start pressing the volume down and the power button at the same time to just shut down, but it still restarts) I could hold it for a whole minute, it won’t shut down. And yet, in other instances, like forced reset, the power button somehow works. I even know the actual touchscreen is still working, since if I press the power button and do a swipe on the screen, it does the unluck sound. Similarly, if I press it after this again, it locks the phone with the sound. So clearly, the power button in this instances work. But since I can only restart but not shut down (The “buttons” next to the Home button always light up if I press home button, so I know it never shut down) I cannot try safe, nor recovery mode. Possible solutions would be getting a miniUSB/HDMI cable (which I don’t have) and displaying my screen on the monitor, or waiting for it to lose battery, but the most annoying thing is that I have a bunch of alarms on the phone working, which annoy the !&&* out of me as I cannot disable them forever without the screen, and so i’d rather solve this sooner than later by at least powering it down for the time being.:D
