Samsung Galaxy A3 2015: Why is my touch screen function not responding

I dropped my phone a few ahours ago. The fall was not that bad, I just fell off my lap when I stood up from the couch. I tried to restart it thinking the screen was frozen but when the phone restarted it was still the same. I still get messages, the up down home and power buttons all still work but the only thing I can't do is get a response when I touch the screen. It's like the whole thing still works fine its just the part of the program that responds to touch that got corrupted. Is the any way to fix this without an expert? I also tried the volume up+home+power but all that gets me is a screen shot so m guessing it isn't inbuilt. Please help, 've never gone this long without a phone

Samsung Galaxy A3 2015: Galaxy A3 Digitizer Replacement problem?

Hi guys, yesterday I tried to split my broken glass from the lcd and I succeded with it. After this there was an uv loca gel left over the lcd and I used acetone to remove it.

But the problem is that also at the back of the LCD there was specific tape I think white scotch and black but unsure and she also fell off.

I tried to check if the display is still working and it's working. Just wondered about that tape or adhesive I don't know what is it and, is it so important to install a new one, before apply a new uv loca gel over the lcd.

The tape was between LCD and Copper, directly at the back of the lcd when used acetone it was sticky but removable, so I pull all of it, but display still works.

Thanks in advance,

Samsung Galaxy A3 2015: Why won't the device power on after replacing charging board?

This unit had it's screen cracked. This was successfully removed and the replacement screen tested okay. i.e. the device powered up. Unfortunately the tiny menu and back button ribbons broke whilst removing the screen.

Obtained a new component to replace the charging unit including buttons.

Connected all back together again but device wouldn't power on. Took apart again and put the original component back in place but still wouldn't power on (I knew the original part did power on and screen worked so wanted to test if the new component was at fault).
