So i dropped my phone. And its broken, when i turn it on it just make a small signal and turns off. I want to repair the phone by myself. Do i need to change the whole display or can i just change the screen? Or do i need to repair it another way?

My phone was submerged into the water when I was washing my hands, the phone didn't die and I thought that was fine, I was testing it's camera and speaker to see if it was fine, they were. And then suddenly the phone's screen had that purple filter on about 80% of the screen the apps and background is still visible. My phone is a Samsung A21s it's now in the uncooked rice for about 6 hours now. Will this do the trick? If not, what are the things I can do? I’m only a student and short on money so I don’t have anything to get the screen replaced

Hi I just want to ask a question about repairs, basically I dropped my phone in water and got it to a repair center hoping they can fully recover it, instead they offered me a screen replacement. I said no because they’re asking for 3500php (73 $) and said they’ll just clean it or remove the water that’s inside the device, I saw them spray something on the components and proceeded to piece it back together. My concern is: I’m planning to get the screen replaced next month and would that be too late and still worth it? Or will the phone survive another month. Basically what I mean is will the other parts be okay since they did something? I’ve only had the phone for two weeks btw it’s a gift from my dad.

I was eating cereal and I was pouring more cornflakes the cereal bowl fell into my bowl and milk splashed on my phone . I put it in rice straight away as it had happened to me before with water. the next day my brother gave me those silica gel packets to put in the bowl with the rice. after a few hours I checked on my phone and it was perfectly fine .The next day it started fuzzing and freezing but I didn’t think much of it and then yesterday the screen went dark but there were lines of different colors and every time you turned it of and turned it it on it would change I am trying to turn my phone off as I have alarms that go off randomly and disturb my family but I cant touch the screen because it doesn’t work, I can also see some icons in the back round but there very dim. please help!

Hey folks, I replaced first the battery, then the charging port daughter board in my Samsung Galaxy A21s, but it still will not charge from any source. It boots and runs just fine on the ~50% factory charge in the new battery. It does detect the cable connection, and the software shows charging/fast charging status and even gives a time until fully charged estimate, but the total percentage only ticks downward.

I have also tried booting into recovery mode and leaving it plugged in for 30 minutes, per another post I found in my searching.

Really hoping a motherboard component isn't zapped, as I have plenty of experience with basic part swaps, but board work will be beyond my tools and skills.
