I have read the manual and followed it's instruction repeatedly. It says to disconnect the unit and power it off. I have tried this repeatedly to no avail.

I chose this category because it is the closest to my problem, I don't have a samsung and it is not just a dvd player, but a jvc dvd/vcr player. I need to be educated on how to properly use this. Please help?
