Samsung Chromebook Pro: How to replace the hinges?

The tablet fell off a table and now the right hinge is not working right. I am unable to fold back the screen. I looked online and found replacement hinges and it look like it would be easy to get to the hinge connected to the keyboard end. Wondering how to get to the hinge connected to the display end. There is a section at the bottom of the screen half that looks like, if removed, would give access to the hinges. Anyone know the best way to remove that cover strip?

Update (12/05/2018)

Here is a pic of what Im trying to get at. The strip that is right above the hinge and below the lcd screen.

Samsung Chromebook Pro: Phantom touches - touch screen

Hi,

I have a Samsung Chromebook book Pro and it suffers from phantom touches when I have the touchscreen enabled. It has suffered from this issue for ages. However I've just disabled the touch screen as I didn't really use it that often.

However I now want to use the touch screen to try and take notes. I would like some guidance to a fix. As from what I have seen it is a hardware issue. The touch screen worked for ages and then it gradually got worse and worse.

I have tried factory resets in the past

If it is a screen replacement where can I source one In the UK?

Thank you! Some help would be much appreciated!

Samsung Chromebook Pro: Screen Jiggling & Shaking

Why is my screen occasionally shaking, jiggling, zooming in/out, and opening/closing windows without me touching anything? I can usually stop it by simply moving the screen back or forth slightly. I think it could be related to a pinched cable or touchpad.

Samsung Chromebook Pro: The touchscreen doesn't work

The touchscreen is completely unresponsive. The Chromebook works perfectly otherwise, but doesn’t respond to a finger or the stylus on the touchscreen. I also don’t get the notification when I take out the stylus. I’ve tried factory resetting, but it doesn’t change anything.

Samsung Chromebook Pro: Black screen, led blue color

Hi! can anyone help how to fix this most common problem of the samsung chromebook pro? I dont have the warranty because I only got this as a gift.

I've searched and that this is a common problem with the samsung chromebook pro.

I was using my chromebook pro when suddenly the screen flickered and resets. After it booted and ask for the chrome os to be recovered. After I finished recovering the os using a USB, it went to logo screen and after a few minutes it died. It wont start up, I only see black screen and the led is blue. I can turn it off and charge the device and then the led will turn green. If I try to press the reset button and the power button, the led will turn white briefly then comes back to blue again. same as if I push the esc + reset + power button.

Hope someone can help to fix this. I have tried disconnecting the battery and pressed the power button for 1 min and still the same.

Samsung Chromebook Pro: Why won't my touchscreen work with my fingers but the stylist?

Today during class I accidentally dropped my Chromebook flat on its screen while trying to show one of my peers our project. I picked it up instantly and examined it. I think it looked perfectly good until when I tried touching the screen, I noticed it would not respond to my touch. I took out the stylist and it worked perfectly fine. Further more, I somehow accidentally disabled the touch pad. So now I am stuck with using it like a tablet with only the stylist. I cannot even use Autodesk Sketchbook; please help.
