I recently spilled liquid on my Chromebook Pro and some of the keys are no longer working. I tried to remove the keys to see if any residue was causing them to not work but to no avail. Is there a DIY to replacing the entire keyboard?

It’s fairly easy to remove the display assembly, and then removing the trim piece across the bottom of the display reveals the hinges, but the hinge screws are obscured by the glass. Is it possible to remove and replace them?

Samsung Chromebook Plus: Won’t power on.

Device is not powering on when button pressed. The power light starts blinking colors in a pattern. Device will go into recovery mode but that’s all.

I have a Samsung Chromebook Plus that will stay in tablet mode (i.e. keyboard and trackpad don't work) when I start it. All the touch screen and pen features work fine, I can log on using the onscreen touch keyboard. If I fold the screen back and us it in tablet mode then try to go back into laptop mode the keyboard and trackpad stay locked out. When this happens I can plug in a mouse and use it as a pointing device with no problem.

The problem is intermittant. Somtimes when I've used it fir a while, the keyboard and trackpad come back. Every so often the keyboard and trackpad stay locked out the whole time I'm using it. Sometimes the keyboard and trsckpad will work straight away.

I'm thnking this might be a hardware issue with a cable that needs to be re-inserted or replaced. Has anyone else encountered this and/or have guidance for opening the chromebook and checking the cable?

Samsung Chromebook Plus: My space bar doesn't work when I press on the outsides.

When ever I press the outside of the space bar, nothing happens. I have maybe an inch (at most) in the middle where it works, but no where else on the key does it work

Okay, I was drawing on my brand new Samsung Chromebook Pro which I babied since I got it on May 20, 2018, and all of a sudden the clicky top of the pen came flying off! I lost the spring inside of the stylus and now I have a broken stylus that does not click. I would REALLY appreciate if someone answered quickly by telling me where to get a new one or HOW to get a replacement spring for my stylus!!!

okay, so, my s pen had a curved/rounded tip, and i got a replacement because the nib got fuzzy. i tried seeing if the replacement would fit in the slot, but it got a bit stuck, so i tried to get it out, and it got pushed even farther. i have no idea how to get it out, and i dont see anywhere to unscrew the plates to somehow get the s pen out. please, please help me.

About a day ago, my touchscreen stopped responding to my touch, but continues to work with my Stylus. Now, this wouldn’t be such a big deal, but I am a very weird person. And when one thing of any product doesn’t work, I really push myself to either fix it myself, or find a way to fix it. I don’t know what caused this, but have a general idea. The other night, I had it on my lap, and was staying up really late. I think I must have dozed off, as when I awoke, it was on the ground. My floor is not hardwood, and it was only about a two foot drop. So I thought nothing of it, could this be why it is no longer working?

Samsung Chromebook Plus: Tabs are auto clicking when moving the screen

When I have several tabs open, and I move or jiggle the screen, the tabs auto select and un-select themselves. Basically like clicking on the different tabs. Only happens when moving the screen, as in partially closing or opening the screen hinge. It makes touching the screen apps impossible, since touching the screen moves it and it glitches and selects various tabs instead of the active app. Loose cable inside perhaps? Thanks for any help
