Samsung BD-E5400: Why is my player frozen?

My player is frozen. After turning it off it turns on again. Looks like it’s stuck in a boot loop. Is their a hardware fix?

Player shuts down when streaming, then clicks off & on repeatedly; won't respond to remote to stop this. Will start to play disc without prompting. I've tried updating software, unplugging player. Help!

I can't seem to make the reset work. I tried holding the stop button for 8 seconds. No response. It won't even power off. Is it just fried?

Samsung BD-E5400: Apps not working since wifi card replaced

When i try to open any of the installed apps they will not connect Vudu shows an error with invalid hardware then shows the old mac address. I tried going to samsung to get a updated firmware I am already at latest version. The samsung link is down for downloading from their site, i was given this for the usb download http://spr.ly/617703SdD4 it goes directly to it the download if anyone needs it. Factory resets haven't helped either is there any way to reimage the player or get into a setup like a bios?
