Royal Kludge Keyboard: Why does wired USB stop working

Royal Kludge keyboards have a long well documented history if just stopping. they work if you have the dongle but they burn the USB out. Is there any fix for this? RK say its not a widespread issue. Do not buy unrepairable keyboards the vendor view as disposable

one key types double letters like when i press key 'O' it types 'OW' and this issue is having with many keys and sometimes these keys change their function automatically like when i press 'ENTER' it increase my screen brightness

I want to short circuit the reset button, so I can flesh the firmware to fix my device but Idk how to find the reset button on the pcb.
