Dremel 4000: How can I keep my Dremel from overheating?

I've had my Dremel 4000 for over a year, and I've never had trouble with it. Recently though, I've noticed that the tool gets very hot after only a few minutes of use, and sometimes there is a faint burning smell. It functions well enough before it gets hot, and I don't hear any grinding when it is running. Any insight is appreciated.

Dremel MultiPro 395: Why is my Device not turning on?

I plugged My MultiPro in and no matter what I do it will not turn on. The bit will not rotate and the device seems to not be getting power at all. Can this be fixed?

Dremel 8200: No Power coming from tool

I was cutting a sheet of paneling and the tool stopped and the 3 battery indicating light on the tool was flashing 1 at a time so i plugged in the battery and set to charge and after charged the same 3 lights on the tool were still blinking and still no power to the tool

Dremel 4000: Stopped working, brushes look fine. What might be wrong?

I was cutting a ridge in a board, stopped inbetween to sand and check if it is wide enough to fit my board and the dremel just wouldn't turn back on. I opened it because I thought there might be dirt inside but not really. The brushes are still 1/2 inch+ so it can't be that and tested on different outlets.

Dremel 4000: Dremel 4000 quit working

Hi my Dremel 4000 which really didn't have much use on it just quit working. After researching it several you tube video's suggested the one of the winding wires on the coil broke at the crimp spot so it seemed like a simple repair. Upon close inspection I couldn't see a broken wire and did a continuity test on the windings and they seem to be okay. I have a new switch assembly coming so hopefully that will do the trick. I guess my questions would be am I on the right track? Does anyone have experience with Dremel problems? My last older model Dremel just up and quit after again really not much usage but I didn't bother to research it so maybe the broken coil wire trick might have fixed it. Thank you.

Dremel 8200: Collet Nut Frozen on Shaft

I have not used this Dremel tool in some years. The Collet Nut is frozen to the shaft and cannot be loosened to insert bits. How can I loosen this? Short of replacing the entire shaft? I have already soaked the part in coke and it has not loosened.

Dremel lite 7760: I have a newer dremel7760 needs a battery

I have the newer dremel7760 lite with internal 4v battery. It was given to me as a bag of dremel “disassembled” I put a 18650 battery in to test but it cuts off on high"4" does anyone know what battery is supposed to be in this dremel lite 7760

Rotary Tool: I need help locating a part on my dewalt dce555 power tool.

My Dewalt drywall cutout tool is not powering up. The button was broken, and I fixed that already. This black and white part zoomed in on in the picture is what I believe is preventing it from turning on now. It is the speed control, and I cannot locate it at all on the internet. I do not want to buy the entire motor unit on some website that sells the entire motor assembly for $100.

Rotary Tool: I need a bridge rectifier for my vintage Dremel tool

I have a vintage Dremel "Moto-Tool", model 270 series 66-2. It stopped working recently and a part was blown. I figured out it is a bridge rectifier. It is between the mains and the motor. It's a pretty simple circuit.

My challenge is finding this part. Does anyone know what the specifications of this part is and where I can find one? Thanks!

I placed my tool into a 220v socket yet it takes in 120v and it stop working any help on how to replace the Electrical Assembly Replacement unit for the dramel 4300 Rotary tool and where i can find an Electrical Assembly Replacement for the Dramel Rotary Tool
