Rocketfish RF-WHTIB-A: Why are the sender and receiver not connecting?

Both of my devices are plugged in and on. The sender and receiver LED lights are both flashing, but when I press the connect button on both devices nothing happens and they continue blinking after the 30 second connection period.

Rocketfish RF-WHTIB-A: My Transmitter isn't turning on.

Out of the blue the transmitter for the kit has just stopped turning on. Power supply is working fine and power appears to be making it onto the main board. No caps are bulging and seem to be ok when tested. Any suggestions?
