Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra: LiDAR won’t spin

The LiDAR will stop spinning. This seems to be a common problem with their design. Sometimes it’s debris that gets into the housing. Others the motor blows out. There are YouTube videos showing repairs on older models but none on this model. A video would be helpful as the design seems to be slightly different.

Also, any advice on upgraded replacement parts to fix the weak points would be helpful.

Roborock S7: Two plastic parts are leftovers but where from?

I teared my vacuum cleaner (Roborock S7 later model) down (have to change the vibrating module) and in some point I turned it (vacuum cleaner) upside down these parts dropped out on the table. The size of the fallen out rectangular black plastic part is about 13x4x5 mm including some kind of similar notches on it's each end. There are two pieces not exactly the same looking parts but the sizes are the same. I might remember they falled out after removing the main brush module and then when I turned vacuum cleaner upside down there parts falled out. The model is the later one and European (Roborock S7) . Anyone who might know these parts locations in vacuum cleaner would you please tell me?

S7 MaxV Ultra: The Vibra-mop isn't working after replacement. Did I miss a step.

My S7 MaxV Ultra was giving a Error 27, Vibra-Mop Jammed. It was mopping, but I don't think it was raising the mop when it wasn't mopping. I found the replacement part on AliExpress. The part came in and seemed Identical to the old part. I found a youtube video on taking the robot apart. I replaced the part. Now when I run the robot it doesn't ever activate the mop. It washes the mop at the start of the session, but doesn't after finishing. I also don't see it lowering the mop and the floors aren't wet when it is running. I asked Roborock support but they just want me to send it in. Is there a process to get it to reset or calibrate the new module. Thanks for any responses.

Roborock Qrevo S: roborock Qrevo S Robot Lidar error. Check that the turret turns freely

Does anyone have a guide on how to disassemble the Qrevo S?

Context:

My robot hasn't hit the year mark and yet he doth betray me with the Lidar error. I tried spinning the lidar with a cotton swab a few (15) times (it turns just fine), cleaning the area with a toothpick and vacuum, moving it, soft resetting it, hard resetting it and now I'm at a loss.

I followed this guide initially, but unfortunately it doesn't get me all the way to the turret motor in my model: <ins>https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/commen...</ins>

I have tried YouTube, google and am a hair's breadth away setting fire to my poor tool kit.

Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra: Dustbin empty cycle stuck

I’m having a persistent issue with my Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and hoping someone here has run into the same thing or has a fix.

Problem Summary:

Whenever the robot returns to the dock to auto-empty the dustbin, it gets stuck in the emptying cycle. Physically, I can hear the dock vacuum start and stop, but in the Roborock app, the emptying process never finishes. This causes two major problems:

The robot won’t start charging.

If it returns mid-cleaning, it won’t resume cleaning after docking.

What I’ve Tried:(Layman internet suggestions)

Unplugged the dock and plugged it back in.

Cleaned all filters and checked for obstructions.

Power-cycled the robot.

Verified the dustbin cover is properly installed.

Checked for blockages in the dock and suction path.

Ensured the robot isn’t in Do Not Disturb (DND) mode, and verified every setting in the app.

Additional Notes:

I can manually stop the emptying process via the app, but doing so resets the cleaning cycle, meaning it won’t resume where it left off.

The dock’s status light doesn’t show any errors, and the vacuum seems to dock correctly.

I suspect the issue might be with the signal or sensor that tells the robot the emptying process is complete. It seems like the robot never gets that confirmation.
