Afterwards I heard “internal error” only once did it state error 17- I then noticed the brush was no longer spinning

The vacuum works fine otherwise- periodically it will say “internal error” but functions fine- except for the side brush. I bought motor online and replaced it but no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time
