Retro-Bit Retro Duo: Multi tap not working properly for NHL94

I purchased a Super Link by BPS on eBay to use with NHL94. The multi tap works fine for two player, but when I switch to the 5P (five player option) I get a message in the game stating ‘Multiplayer 5 is not designed with the Super NES Super Scope.'

This Multitap works fine with INTERNATIONAL SOCCER SUPERSTARS.

Another note, if I plug the multi tap into a controller extension cable, then into the Retrobit, a second controller is recognized regardless if the multi tap is set to 2P or 5P.

Is this is Retrobit error?

Retro-Bit Retro Duo: Retro Duo A/V ports no longer working. How do I fix it?

It seems that my Retrobit Retro Duo video outputs got killed by a power outage this weekend, along with my auto-sensing A/V and S video selector switch. It still seems to power the slots (as in the lights still work) but I get no signal transmission, and I know that it was working a few weeks prior to the power outage and was working fine. Is there a way for me to repair it or will I have to replace the console?
