GE Refrigerator: Why won't my GE refrigerator dispense water?

When I try to dispense water the refrigerator makes a noise, but nothing comes out. I also noticed water slowly leaking from in the bottom corners of the unit. I've checked the hoses and there doesn't seem to be a problem. The ice maker/dispenser still works fine. I've tried two different brand new water filters, but get the same result. What else should I try to get the refrigerator to dispense water again?

Whirlpool Refrigerator WRS325FDA 0: Whirlpool Refrigerator Interior Lights Flickering

My Whirlpool WRS322FDAW01 is just over a year old and all of a sudden the interior lights on both the fridge side and the freezer side are strobing when the door is open. From what I've gathered the lights are LED and may have to be replaced in their entirety. Not sure. Please help!

Also, all of the lights on both sides of the fridge are in sync regarding the strobe effect. I'd even be ok with just shutting them off completely instead of the strobe. Any help will be much appreciated!

GE Profile Refrigerator PFSS9PKY: Refrigerator Will not dispense water after replacing filter.

After replacing the filter on a GE Profile PFSS9PKY French Door water would not dispense. I put the old filter on and it worked fine. I have tried the Ge brand as well as another brand filter and had the same result. I followed the directions for filling the filter first with out success. The fridge would make a hammering noise only with the new filter which would then stop however no water would come out or sometimes very little water would come out at first then nothing. After a couple months with the old filter I tried again with the new filter and now water will not come out with either the old or new filter.

GE Refrigerator: Why are my fridge and freezer not cooling?

Earlier today I noticed that a bottle of juice I put in the fridge last night wasn't cold. The temperature control for the freezer said -10 (should be 0) and the fridge said 57 (should be 37). I've tried to reset the controls, to no avail. I unplugged it, vacuumed off the back (although there wasn't much to vacuum) and plugged it in again. It's only getting warmer. Any ideas? I don't remember exactly when I bought the fridge, but I believe it's less than 10 years old.

UPDATE: The fridge is 7 years old. Also, the freezer is now at 2 and the fridge is at 63. So the temp of the freezer is moving in the right direction, but the fridge is definitely not.

I sure hope AB Cellars sees this. He was amazing when I posted about my clothes dryer.

ANOTHER UPDATE: The GE Technician just arrived. It's the freezer sensor (aka thermistor). I'm getting 50% off parts and labor, so my total cost is $146.77 (including the service call).

Thanks everyone for your help! Mayer... you nailed it. The evaporator coils were covered in ice.

LG Refrigerator: Why is my refrigerator not cooling?

We have an LG Fridge that's been with us for about 6 years. It's one of those 3 door fridges with the water dispenser on it. Our freezer compartment broke, and we have not used it since. The refrigerator itself was working about 2 weeks ago. Then we noticed that the fridge is slightly warm—like almost room temperature warm. What can I do to make our fridge cold again? I don't want to spend $100 + for the repairman to come and fix it.
Samsung Refrigerator - RF28HDEDT: Ice Build-Up in Back Wall

We have a Samsung french-door, twin cooling refrigerator (RF28HDEDT model) that has ice build up in the back wall of the refrigerator. Fan noise is our first clue to the ice build up, and with a lot of online research I’ve learned how to remove the shelves, pull the back panel, and defrost the ice build up on my own…often in less than an an hour. We live in Wisconsin, and during the dry winter months I seem to get more longevity out of the fix…but when the humidity rises in the summer we are now opening up the back panel every 4-6 weeks to defrost the ice build up with a steamer.

About a year ago we had a Samsung tech out to our home and he replaced the heating element that runs along the sides/bottom…parts and labor ~$200. As you can see from the attached picture, the bottom portion seems just fine, so it’s not the drain jamming up, for which I’ve seen some parts that can be bought to conduct more heat to the drain hole. Something is happening to quickly accumulate ice in the upper portion…assuming it’s a leak of sorts? The noise is starting to brew again today, so this week I will be back into the fridge for a defrost…any recommendations for a more permanent solve? Thoughts on a copper wire wrapped around the heating element and extended to the upper portion to conduct some heat up there to avoid the ice build up? Sorry if this is a naïve question, but is low freon a potential issue here? If so, how to diagnose and/or recharge?

The fridge works fine otherwise…some freezing of the upper ice maker a few times a year…but general cooling is working…so I’m hopeful that there’s a simple MacGyver fix here that will keep me from clearing the contents of the fridge and defrosting every 4-6 weeks in the summer months. Thanks in advance for the help.

Update (05/24/2021)

As an update, we are experiencing the re-occurrence of fan noise routinely around every 4-5 weeks...I'm getting rather swift with the removal of contents/shelves from the fridge and hair-dryer defrost of the back wall...can usually have all put back together within 40-60 minutes. Build-up seems faster in the summer months where the humidity is higher here in WI...it gets dry in the winters and I'm expecting that we can go months if I can gut through the summer. With inspiration from the video linked below I've purchased an SH502 heater for ~$20 from Amazon and intend to install one of the next times we open up the unit...unless someone advises otherwise in this thread. Condensation is appearing quickly even while I defrost...so maybe a little caulk on the entry point near the top will be in order too.

Kenmore Refrigerator: Kenmore Elite 76572 Refrigerator Fridge and Freezer not cooling?

My Kenmore Elite 76572 refrigerator is not cooling properly. I set the freezer and fridge temperatures to 0 deg F and 37 deg F respectively, as recommended but they go back to 12/14 deg F and 50/52 deg F, needless to say it is not making ice. The light, compressor etc. are on. So far I tried shutting it off for over 5 minutes but in vain. I also saw some frost that I scrapped off and left the fridge disconnected from electricity and doors open for few minutes to get rid of all the frost but no improvement. Any suggestions?
