Razer Tiamat 7.1: Seal/repair polyurethane/fabric headset earcushions.

I have a Razer Tiamat V1 with wornout earcushions. The polyurethane coating (fake leather) has flaked off over time, Does anyone know how to fix this?

I was thinking I could just coat the underlying fabric and remaining polyurethane in a seal of some kind. I'm just not sure what product to use. It needs to be skin safe, flexible and durable.

PS: I'd obviously just buy replacement earcushions, but Razer doesn't sell them and all OEM versions are too small.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Razer Tiamat 7.1: Cable into Headset causing Static and loss of Quality in Left speaker

I've been having issues with my Razer Tiamat 7.1 headset where the cable leading into the left Speaker causes a static noise if moved even slightly. There has now also been a drop in quality in the left speaker as it no longer seems to have Bass anymore, even when the static noises have ceased.

The cable itself is starting to fray at the connection to the left speaker. What can I do to fix this issue? The warranty has long since passed so I can't get it fixed by Razer themselves.
