How do I fix my escort IX power problem I bought a new cord and everything and now it's not powering on when I bought it they used the regular cord and it said low power but now it won't even come on with a new power cord

Hi I have a escort max360c that I'm saving up so I can pay the $199.99 price for escort to fix or replace my unit. But I can't afford it right now so I was hoping maybe someone could possibly let me know if there was a way to fix it . The problem it has is when I plug it in nothing happens sometimes only the buttons on the top of unit light up but that's it. Nothing on the screen turns on or doesn't make any sound or anything. I've tried a completely different plug in cord and that doesn't work either. My buddy has the same one but it did the same thing when I plugged into his charging cord. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I keep my volume to minimum but accidentally bumped the volume up button. I tried to reduce the volume but it only would increase. After trying several times, it’s now stuck on max volume. Will a factory reset correct the problem?
